Crawford thinks he's solved things when he tells the border agent they're engaged, and it works - except now they have to actually get married before either of them can get back into the United States. Story
Stetson Major and Curtis Traynor are about as opposite as two cowboys can get. Stetson is a rancher, tied to the land he loves in Taos, New Mexico, while Curtis is a rodeo cowboy whose wanderlust never could be tamed. But now Stetson's momma is dying of Alzheimer's, and she can't remember that Curtis hasn't been Stetson's boyfriend for a long time. Curtis's absence makes her cry, so Stetson swallows his pride and calls his ex-lover. To Curtis, Stetson is the one who got away, the love of his life. And Momma is his friend, so he's happy to help out. Yet returning to the ranch stirs up all sorts of feelings that, while buried, never really went away.

Payne. In search of: Room to rent. Must ignore the patheticness of a 40-year-old roommate. Preferably dirt cheap as funds are tight (nonexistent). There’s nothing sadder than moving back to my hometown newly divorced, homeless, and lost for what my next move is. When my little brother’s best friend offers me a place to stay in exchange for menial duties, I swallow my pride and jump at the offer. I need this. I also need Beau to wear a shirt. Story
I spent college worrying about responsibilities and earning my teaching degree, so before graduation and moving to Atlanta with my best friend, Ross, I figure I deserve a little fun. I’ve never been with an older man, but the guy at the bar grabs my attention and doesn’t let go…for multiple rounds, all night long. The next day, when Ross introduces me to his dad, the last thing I expect is for him to be my hookup from the night before, in town from Atlanta for his son’s graduation. The best thing would be to pretend it never happened, which is easier said than done.

My whole life, I’ve been taught to despise shifters. So when I’m hired to track two escaped convicts, I’m suddenly thrust into the world I hate - or thought I did. Yet I’m inexplicably drawn to the alpha of the pack, whose land the convicts may be hiding on. He’s different than any shifter I've ever met - laidback and quick to laugh, caring, and protective. As secrets are revealed, I start to wonder if everything I’ve been raised to believe was a lie, though it may not matter, because it seems like someone wants us dead.

In my defense, I was left alone with a bottle of single-malt and a lifelong penchant for protecting my baby sister. Still, that's no excuse to send 10 drunk-texts on why her hasty marriage would be a mistake. If only I had just texted my sister. But nope. I accidentally sent the message to her, her groom, and his super hot wingman. I also used the phrase “super hot wingman”, so I’d like to die now.

Recently-divorced Joel is finally living as a gay man, but he’s not sure he’s ready to jump into a relationship. That doesn’t stop him from noticing his new contractor’s muscular build, hewn from hard, physical work, or his storm-colored eyes. The icing on the cake? There’s more to Finn than good looks. Maybe he’s the perfect guy to share long walks on the beach and warm nights in front of a fire. But it’s been 20 years since Joel was with a man. Publisher's Summary
A little bundle of joy means big changes.
Hoss McMasters has a working ranch, a bull riding career, a nosy momma, and a best friend he's been in love with since he can remember. He's a busy, happy cowboy, living the good life.
Then one morning he discovers a baby on his doorstep.
Well, Hoss does what any reasonable man would do - he calls his momma and his buddy, Sheriff Pooter, and they head to the clinic to see if Doc knows of any suddenly not-so-pregnant girls.
In the meantime, Hoss and his best friend, Bradley, have their hands full trying to care for an infant, run a ranch, and deal with the sudden confession that Bradley doesn't hate Hoss for coming out to him in high school. In fact, Bradley's been trying to catch Hoss's attention for damn near a decade.

Great Performance of a sweet story
I bought this book because one of my favorite narrators was performing it; and he did not disappoint. This is a very sweet, light and fun listen with a predictable but very enjoyable story. It is the story of two OTT gay "rednecks" (think Jeff Foxworthy) who find love and a baby. I really plays up the "country" aspect of these cowboys lives, but has a solid sweet romance in the middle of all the "good deals" and meddling family. Dorian Bane really elevated this story. He delivers a great performance of the various country characters, including the "moms." If you are looking for a story that puts a smile on your face from beginning to end, look no farther.

One of my favorite rerelistens
This is one to listen to if you are looking for low angst, sweet, sexy, with a great light story, and with a funny cast of characters thrown into the mix . I absolutely ADORE this story, and HOT DAYUM Dorian Bane is a pleasure to eargasm.. I mean listen to. Man could read a cookbook and make it sound like the sexiest of erotica. The combination of funny, sweet, sexy, friends to lovers with a baby for them to love makes this one a MUST LISTEN to, and a great addition to any audible library.

5 stars = I freaking LOVED this audiobook!!!
I received a free copy of this audiobook to listen to and review for Wicked Reads.
B.A. Tortuga is my go-to author for cowboy romances. While Two Cowboys and a Baby is on the softer side of romance, despite its soap-opera twist, the author does not disappoint. Actually, for a standalone title, the story is perhaps more complex and convoluted than I’m accustomed to as Tortuga succeeds in packing in several themes. Abandoned baby. Unrequited love. Two gay daddies. Reassessing one’s priorities in life after an injury. The big one I cannot say because on the off chance that someone else hasn’t revealed that spoiler, I won’t be the one to do it, but rest assured, it is straight out of a soap opera. And yet Tortuga pulls it all off, including a wink and a nod to the unbelievability of a classic soap opera twist.
As the blurb states, Hoss wakes one morning to find a baby abandoned on his doorstep. Instead of being able to hand the child off to the authorities, Hoss winds up accepting responsibility for the infant for the weekend. And then the following week. And then that next weekend. And the next thing you know, Hoss has become the little girl’s unofficial foster dad because the town sheriff and the town doc are trying to figure out who the mom is without getting child services involved. As fantastical as it sounds, I can soooooo totally see the sequence of events that play out in the book actually happening in a small rural town. When the locals close ranks, a small town in the middle of nowhere can operate like its own kingdom – for better and for worse. Unsurprisingly, the longer the little girl is in Hoss’ care, the more attached he gets. What is surprising, especially for Hoss, is learning that his straight best friend, Bradley, ain’t nearly as straight as he let Hoss believe. That shock is only the first of many that Tortuga continues to throw at Hoss, keeping the man on his toes constantly. To be honest, I’m not sure what surprised me more – the circumstances that led to Hoss and Bradley’s falling out, the actual falling out, or what led to Bradley pulling his head out of his derriere and making amends to Hoss. Yep, I implied it and I’ll outright say it, Bradley was in the wrong and his pride kept him in the wrong. As this is not only a B.A. Tortuga cowboy romance, but also a Dreamspun Desires title, you can rest assured that a happy ending is delivered, but it is one bumpy, twisty road to ride to get there.
As much as I enjoyed Dorian Bane’s narrative performance in a paranormal romance last week, the man does the cowboy drawl beautifully. Just as Tortuga is my go-to author for cowboy romances, Bane has quickly become my favorite narrator for western romances. I was very impressed with Bane’s ability to create so many distinct voices for a rather large cast of side characters, all while keeping those Texas drawls and twangs in play. Not an easy feat, I’d assume, yet it enhances the listening experience and makes an already enjoyable story even more entertaining. For me, Two Cowboys and a Baby was classic Tortuga and a perfect story for showcasing Bane’s narrative talents. I look forward to more from both the author and the narrator, especially if there’s another collaboration between them – THAT would be just dandy.

Could've been better
Book & Author: Audiobook - Two Cowboys and a Baby
Author: BA Tortuga
Narrator: Dorian Bane
Rating: 3.5 stars
I wasn’t sure what to feel about this book after I was done listening to it, or well, while I was listening to it. I just kept having to remind myself that it was a Dreamspun books and the tropes and storyline are generally a bit over the top. And this was over the top with cherries on top.
The storyline was cute and slightly finny is crude bodily function jokes are your thing. I did like that Hoss and Bradley called sex fight club so that they didn’t say sex in front of the baby. It was definitely a sweet out for you and friends to lovers romance with a cute baby and clueless men.
Also with it being a B.A. Tortuga cowboy book, there was bound to be lots of country speak and twang. Something closer to the old west televisions shows my mom likes to watch. Basically over the top. Sometimes this made it difficult to understand the narrator because as a girl who lives in Texas I don’t even hear people speak like that on the regular, so it took a bit to figure bits out.
Both characters were sweet and silly and sometimes dumb and gross. I feel like it was very much written as a cowboy romcom which is great if that’s what you are looking for. Their love for that little baby was a beautiful thing, and I thought it brought out a side of them we probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise. I love the relationship between Bradley and Hoss since friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes.

DNF for me.
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I had to stop listening to the audiobook.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
I don't know, didn't get that far in, will be picking up the ebook though as I liked the premise.
What didn’t you like about Dorian Bane’s performance?
I haven't listened to anything narrated by Dorian Bane before and I probably wouldn't buy another book narrated by him, certainly not with the accents he used for this book.
Any additional comments?
I can't comment on the story as I didn't get far enough in to understand any of it, for me, the narration completely ruined what sounded like it was a fun book, I will buy the ebook though.
