Publisher's Summary

A dangerous tale of forbidden love.

She sits alone in a coffeehouse, and her fearless innocence wrecks me. My longing to ruin her is as painful as she is beautiful.

Katie Reed.

Math prodigy.

Lovely, determined, quite unexpected.

Mine.

When I find out she lied to me, that an assassin hunts for her father, and she’s in the line of the fire, I order her into my protective custody.

Keeping her safe is my job.

But there’s no one to protect her from me.

She’s my obsession, and the pretty lies on her lips only make me want her more.

Katie doesn’t belong in my sinful world. I should let her go, but the craving in my soul won’t allow it. I’ll set my little bird free from her emotional cage and then keep her in one of my own.

Two Pretty Lies is a stand-alone Hastings Brothers novel.

Fans of Skye Warren will find their next compulsive listen in this steamy age-gap romance.

Narration was amazing, story was just ok

The narration gets 5 stars hands down. Stella Hunter and Shane East did a phenomenal job narrating Katie and Thomas’s story. They are both so good at inflecting the perfect amount of emotions into their performances.

The story for me gets just 3 stars. The way the age gap was handled was wonderfully done. Katie was such a smart and mature 18 year old, you sometimes forget she was so young. Thomas had a lot of back and forth for me and that became frustrating after a while.

The ending was very anticlimactic and a bit disappointing. I was hoping and expecting a lot more from the overall storyline.

Great Narration!

The narrators are wonderful!!!! I like the story, but having cliff hanger for the same story is so irritating. It would be so much better to have a 10+ hour story rather than having to spend 2 credits for one story.
