Publisher's Summary

Where are we going? How will we get there? In a world of uncertainty, most of us don't really know. Our challenge is to sail into uncharted waters - away from the familiar ways that don't work anymore - to discover ourselves and the infinite potential for our lives. It's in these as-yet-undiscovered places within us that we come to recognize what we can be and what we can co-create with Spirit.

If we try to create guided only by the old, familiar map of our lives, what we create won't be authentic to who we are becoming; we'll just be doing the same thing over and over. As intuitive counselor and "spiritual cartographer" Colette Baron-Reid explains, we need a different kind of map - not one that tells us where we've been, but one we fill in as each new experience changes us into who we need to be to live our destiny. This new map is a map of the soul.

In Uncharted, you'll learn to draw your own map of the soul as Colette guides you on an inward journey through five interconnected realms. First you'll get oriented in the Realm of Spirit, your "home" that connects the other four. Then you will do the work of self-evolution and co-creation in the Realms of Mind, Light, Energy, and Form.

In the Realm of Mind, you experience your consciousness intermingled with that of all consciousness. In the Realm of Light, you illuminate the darkness and experience transformation as you reclaim lost parts of yourself. In the Realm of Energy, you consciously direct the forces influencing you. In the Realm of Form, you see the results of your self-evolution manifested in the material world. At every step, you learn to harness your personal power and turn fear into possibility as you venture into the undiscovered places where magic happens.

Doesn't fit well with the audio format

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would clarify upfront that there's a long, written exercise for every 15 minutes of listening. A really long exercise.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I quit about 1/3 of the way through the book.

Did Colette Baron-Reid do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

n/a

Did Uncharted inspire you to do anything?

I'm more aware of staying clear of audio books with exercises in every chapter.

Any additional comments?

Based on the description, I was really excited about this book but, it just didn't work for me. It would be great to listen while lounging on a beach somewhere with a journal close by. But, I listen to books while I'm doing other things, like driving. The problem was every 15-20 minutes there's a REALLY long journaling (sp?) exercise. For example, answer A-C for 15 - yes, 15 - separate questions (so 45 thought-provoking questions in a single exercise). At first, I tried answering the questions in my mind and bookmarking the exercises to come back to, later. Except that the exercises take a REALLY long time to do with any thoughtfulness and I don't have that kind of time to sit and write. There isn't enough other content in the book to make it worth reading if you're not following the exercises.

Engaging and inspiring!

Any additional comments?

Colette does it again. This book is fun and easy to listen to, filled with assignments and stories. Because Colette narrates this it's even better! I always enjoy her enthusiasm and joy in Spirit.

Do the lessons

Years ago when Collette Baron-Reid released her class 'Reprogram your subconscious mind' I took it through Hay House.  It was a really good course! This is the same class just condensed!  There is a lot left out, but it's a great reminder for those who have taken the class and an introduction for those who haven't!

When you read through this book so all the lessons and you'll get all the benefits of it.

Illuminating and Inspiring, spiritual, down to earth...and much more!

Thank you to Colette Baron-Reid for writing this book and sharing her experiences, lessons and divinely spirit inspired wisdom. This book is a beautiful gift available to all who might be looking for inspiration, direction/guidance, illumination into spirit (and spirit connection) and much more. I have just finished listening and plan to engage with the “exercises“ she offers in the book to better and more consistently and deeply connect & engage with spirit.
If you are someone who thinks this might be a very “woo-woo” book and avoid it for that reason - I encourage you to give it a read/listen - there may be concepts here that seem very new, different and perhaps “woo-woo” to certain readers... they are presented in a very down to earth and relatable manner, so can hopefully resonate with a broad audience... assisting & enlightening many to experience a life more connected to Soul/Spirit... One which can hopefully add more ease, grace, love, true authenticity, gratitude, humble confidence and greater fulfillment etc. to their lives, relationships, vocations and beyond! Love the book and purchased the hard copy as well... mainly to review the exercises in print. Collette narrates her own book extremely well and sincerely. Highly recommend! 💜🙏

Step back and learn. Open up to the possibilities.

I follow Colette. Have for a while. She has an uplifting and delightful voice and personality. A good source of advice to overcome past life experiences gone wrong to learning and using these experiences to manifest infinite possibilities and more!!!! I also have the paper book of this. Good to have both so you can go back and highlight areas to refer back to quickly. Would recommend this book to all. It would be a good book for our youth today to see that if you are experiencing difficulties it is up to you to co-create a new outlook. And to look at the life experiences as teachings. Step back and ask yourself: What is this experience trying to teach me?

A great book full of insight and inspiration. Colette's voice is so easy to listen to. Get yourself a note book as you'll need it along the way. I will be re listening to this one start to finish. Great exercises and notes to take along the way, clearly laid out for you
