Publisher's Summary

Princess Corla was supposed to be my soul mate. But we were star crossed. Two ships passing in the dark. Meant to be together, but never able to be together.

At least that’s what I thought. But it turns out my life is a lie, evil forces are out to get us, Harem Station is spinning chaos, and the soul mate bond won’t protect us.

Sounds pretty bad, right?

But here’s the best part. I can change it. I can change all of it. If I can just find a way to get myself uncrossed.

Uncrossed is the last book in the Harem Station series. It features a man chasing his star-crossed soul mate through time, a bazillion enemies at the gate, an entire station in chaos, and an explosive ending that proves, once and for all, that love wins in the end.

Includes a special note from the author.

Uncrossed

This is the concluding book to the Harem station series. You need to have read/listened to the previous books for this one to make sense. It doesn’t follow the pattern of the other books, but give it a chance, everything makes sense near the end. In the previous books we see each of the brothers find their “fated soul mate” (except Jimmy, but he finds his “true love”). In Crux’s case his “fated mate” remains in the cryo-pod while Crux figures everything out. Events from previous books are brought together bringing sub-plots galore. Everyone has their own agendas .... It was an interesting end to the series and brings a lot of things together. Crux’s journey is interesting when you find out what’s going on, but then makes you question the ending.

Too much

I’ve listened to all of the Harem Station series and this one is terrible. The infinite loop is understandable. Infinite universes etc. are not hard to grasp. The constant back and forth and round and round with less and less of a resolution all the while listening to Crux whine like a helpless idiot is yawn inducing.

OMG!

I’m definitely going to go through separation anxiety now that this series is over. I love all these characters. All I can say is, Wow! Julie’s mind is a wonderful place. Keep up the great work.

I had to force myself to finish it

I’m so disappointed, the series started out really good for the most part, didn’t care for the Mighty Minion theme Park in bk 2 but still gave it a 4. The first half of this book was like she cut all her paragraphs she’d written apart, threw them in the air & put them back together in the order they fell. It made that much sense. Way too much time spent on the stupid spin node, I hate time travel books, yet I appreciate that she likes to make things believable and give her characters depth, I want that in my books too. But she forgot she was writing a romance not a book about physics. The 2nd half was somewhat better but still confused us on another Alcor, was the twins really his kids, and what was the deal with Corla. This was a horrible ending to a book let alone a series.

Damn!

This is the best, most complex and mind blowing series I have ever read/listen to. The author is beyond words and the narrators are my heroes. I hope to meet these characters again, they are now like family. Thank you everyone involved in making this series. ❤️

It was an ending, not the one I would chose.

I had a really hard time connecting with Crux, and the ending left a lot to be desired. I really enjoyed the series.

Crux and the multiverse of madness!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚💜🤎❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🪐💫🌕☄️🌏
Character development: 👽🤖👽🤖👽

The heroine: Corla - the silver princess who started all the boys of Harem Station on their Journey. Back when they were teenagers and on the Akeelian planet, Corla and Crux were forced into a breeding ceremony and afterwards, Corla gives Crux the plan for them to send her through the spin node and gave the boys coordinates and had them escape through the node to ALCOR Station.

The Hero: Crux - Crux came to Harem Station as a teenage boy and was immediately put in charge of the station by ALCOR. While his brothers got to travel the Galaxy and create new virtual worlds, he was stuck being Governor of Harem Station, building bots, fixing water filtration systems, and making sure the station was safe for the millions of residents, while his one and only love is locked away and frozen in a cryopod.

The Story: Just when I thought things couldn’t get any more complex in the Harem Station world (after Veiled Vixon), it gets even crazier. This book begins with Crux being woken up from the time pause that Veila and Valor created to put Harem Station back in order during the final war.

Crux is woken up by Flicka, the dragon bee-bot, and ends up trying to save his daughter Delphi who was stuck in the spin node on level 122. He ends up going through the spin node over and over and being thrown into his own body each time, though it is his body in different multi-verses. Where he and Corla live different lives in each one.

Throughout this series, I have wavered on whether Real ALCOR and his various mini-me’s (Baby ALCOR, and A-hole ALCOR) are good or bad A.I.’s. That continued in this book and I wavered a few times on all of these, though I really liked all of them in their own ways. Another one I absolutely loved was Flicka, the Dragon Bee-Bot.

This book was told mostly from Crux’s point of view, but also had some chapters in a few other POV’s, including A-hole ALCOR, Tray and some others and it was narrated by Shane East and C.J. Mission. They did a great job. I really enjoy both of them. Shane East was the voice of the A.I.’s and I like the proper British accent for the A.I.’s.

“Life is a death sentence!”

One thing I know for certain is that as much as these complicated plots and storylines frustrate me, I do love them so much. It is rare to get such a complex and infuriating stories in alien romance books, and this series and this world has been so detailed, so fun and so deep, which is refreshing to say the least.

Fantastic ending to the series

Even though the ending was slightly complicated, it was a perfect way to end the series. I love it when an author pays attention to all the loose ends. I couldn’t stop listening.

Brilliant!

Uncrossed (Harem Station #6) is the cleverly written conclusion to this wonderful and oftentimes thought provoking Sci-Fi series by JA Huss writing as KC Cross. It’s mind blowing, funny, sexy, and action packed with fantastic characters who are brought to life brilliantly by the amazing narrators. I highly recommend it!
