Guess not all can be homeruns

I had high hopes for this book and I'm a huge fan of Bentley.
now I know he usually goes for a small chapter with things that will make you cringe pushing the envelope or the Shock factor but his stories are almost always right on the spot with development, retention and delivery..
But this book Its to put nicely, is a Campas of Erotica torture broken stories and unnecessary shock to thee extreme. I really hate writing anything bad about Bentley. But on a scale of 1 to 10 his books are at low 7s and average 9s and 10s. This one however remained a 2 out of 10. the very last chapter was closer to a 6 but still..

still looking forward to any other books I may have missed or that are new. you can skip this one for sure..

Worst horror novel I've ever read

The plot here is so ridiculous that it is impossible to suspend disbelief and go along for the ride. Rape and sexual assault of women are overrepresented in the catalog of violent acts. Book subscribes to the horror cliche that the worst thing that could happen to a woman is rape but the worst thing that could happen to a man is to watch someone he loves his raped. Both acts happen multiple times with the rapes being presented in greater detail than the books other violent acts and seemingly played for titillation. I'm usually a big fan of Bentley Little, but this book is "rapier" than a lot of horror porn and isn't good enough otherwise to justify having to experience it

worth the credits

this is in the same vein as the store, the association, and the town. def worth the listen. my favorite Little book is the summoning. I enjoyed the university. one part that stands out, a girl cuts this rapist frat guys balls off and they splat to the floor. mean the imagination.

HORRIBLE

I'm glad this isn't the first book of his that I read. He's still one of my favorite writers but this book was overreaching.
