Background Noise

I’m trying to get through this but there is a clicking or crackling sound in the background that is very distracting and makes me feel uncomfortable 😭

Easy and simple

Absolutely love the easy explanation for such a complex topic. After reading the book, I am more hopeful and aware. I now know that I am not alone. My anxiety is part of who I am. Adrenaline rush is now my favorite word to explain my anxiety and understand my anxiety.

Fantastic guide to understanding your anxiety

This book is a MUST READ for anyone struggling to understand and manage their own anxiety. It is written is such a way that is easy to digest and absorb, and so relatable! You can tell that these two guys know their stuff not only through education and learning but their own personal experiences. The warm and friendly tone is comforting when trying to learn about a serious topic, and I love the humour sprinkled throughout. If you're looking for a guide to help you understand and therefore begin to manage your anxiety, this really is the book for you!

Possibly a great calming book

I purchased this book thinking it would give me tools that I could use to get me back to feeling normal again & whilst it might just do that it didn’t scratch the surface for my problem if I only knew what it was? After 3 years of anxiety turning into possible depression I’ve started to feel I may have PTSD?
I had the dreaded Cncr in the worst possible place in my opinion my nose & came home after having had my septum removed with a whole host of side effects which I looked up & viewed gory pictures of people which stopped me sleeping properly which then made me Mr Angry with folk & very critical of people & everyday life (wife)
This has got a little better as it has weened if a little but I still have some very dark days never seemingly going away ex - I even got mad at others problems whist listening to this book by thinking “what’s the matter with them” sorry
Anyway way it might as said be a good book for a whole host of issues regarding the brain but it didn’t address my PTSD “If “ that’s what I have
Will possibly help others.

incredible and enlightening at the same time

A well presented and truly mind blowing at times guide to helping with acute anxiety and stress. The pointers in this book are so simple but when you are in an anxious state you would rarely think to try them. I for one will be keeping this book on my shelf so that I can call upon it at times of need.

A true lifesaver.

Excellent book about anxiety

Great insights and advice, easy to follow, and super useful. I also like it when the authors narrate their books as it feels more personal, and thankfully both Narrators have calming and pleasant voices. This book is great for those suffering from anxiety, as well as anyone who might know or support people with anxiety.

Life changing!

I wish this was the first thing I’d been given after my first adrenaline rush!! The science behind them gave me an ahah moment…and you can’t argue with science! Made me worry less instantly and be ready to sit with anxiety when/if it presents itself again. Also saying yes to all the events I was starting to shy away from but usually love. Reclaiming my adrenaline! Thank you so much for this knowledge.
