When the man from Sara’s past resurfaces, J.P. will do whatever it takes to protect the woman stealing his heart.

Story
Mark Holbrook was a legend. A tall, rugged, imposing legend. He'd won a Pulitzer, interviewed kings and queens, presidents, and movie stars. Carly Barnett, on the other hand, was a former-beauty-queen-turned-advice-columnist. Not exactly on the same level. Still, Carly was determined to prove that she was more than a pretty face. Mark wasn't sure the beautiful and spirited Carly had what it took to be a reporter, but he was sure that he wanted her. And Mark never denied himself what he wanted.

Story
In 1886, lovely Banner O'Brien overcame every obstacle and won her coveted medical diploma. Still, she longed to escape from Oregon...and the nightmares that left her shaking, screaming one man's name. Banner fled to the Washington Territory to accept a position with Dr. Adam Corbin...arrogant, handsome, and, rumor said, violent. Although Banner respected his skills, she was unnerved by the very nearness of this moody, powerful man.

Leaves more to be desired
The story wasn't as fully fleshed out as I would have liked. Maybe more background on the marriage and more on the work thing. It would help explain the continual misunderstandings and friction for a couple married 10 years who divorced though still loved each other.
