Mindboggling Change of Narrator from Original

Not sure why they would change and also redo the Original narration by one of the best Narrators in the business, John Keating. It's a great story with a mediocre narrator. It's unfortunate. I feel like Damian put some effort into mumbling through this and to make an excellent story boring. In any case, if you got the original Malice with Keating, I recommend you just get the book and read it so you are not so disappointed.

A pretty good book 2 but starts to drag

Loved book one. It was amazing. Book 2 however is a bit of of bummer. All the “good guys/girls” are kidnapped and/or on the losing end of every encounter. Like the whole book is nothing but the baddies winning each chapter and each event and by the end it was like can our heroes catch even one break?
The main story is a long chase which by the end was starting to drag. I’m hoping Book 3 is much better,
The narration by Mr Lynch is spectacular and kept me engaged even though the story began to get tedious. May have also been a few too many battle scenes as well. By the end I was really getting bored with exploding body parts, weapons bursting through bodies, and repetitive melee battles.

Valor review

Only problem I had was with one character and the fact that I felt his acts carried on too long and without a satisfying conclusion. Ruined half the book and will not be continuing because of it.

I Laughed, I cried, I sobbed.

I am really enjoying this series. At its core, this installment is about what truly matters: family, kinship and loyalty. This message is delivered wrapped in a bow of violence, treason and deception. Bloody well done.

Gwynne is amazing!

From character development to world building to overall plot and story Gwynne nails it all. I purchased Ruin(book 3) before I finished this one. I think could be adapted to live action very easily!
