What if earlier in 1941, the United States had specific intelligence about the upcoming Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and had acted upon this information?

In Victory at Hawaii: America Defeats the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor, the decades-old question is explored—how could the US be so surprised and defeated on December 7, 1941 by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor? And how could, just six months later in June 1942, the US Navy deal a crushing blow to the Japanese Fleet at the Battle of Midway? We all know that the US had some important intelligence indicating that the Japanese were going to attack us at Midway Island. But what if earlier in 1941, America had specific intelligence about the upcoming Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and had acted on it?

In this exciting new novella, Victory at Hawaii: America Defeats the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor, by Frank Jefferson, a time traveler goes back in time to 1941 to warn President Roosevelt and his military leaders about the upcoming attack on Pearl Harbor. Listen to this compelling audiobook to see if President Roosevelt and his advisors believe him and act on this information, and see how the Pacific War could have worked out differently.

A must listen!

While I already know the main information about the attack on Pearl Harbor, this audiobook taught me so many extra bits of detail. I am enthralled about how the writer blended non-fiction with fiction. The storyline is amazing. The addition of the time traveler puts a spin on my perspective about the whole attack. Well written, Frank.

Amazing Audiobook On Victory At Hawaii

This audiobook was so educational and to be the point for Victory At Hawaii. It touches upon the story of the American defeating the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, a story I only heard about but wasn't too educated on. After listening to this audiobook I felt very educated on the topic and can now speak about Pearl Harbor with confidence and clarity. The narration is also top-notch and crisp. Well done to the author and narrator!

Great historical fiction with sci-fi elements

I enjoy science fiction and have a soft spot for time travel stories. The book is written in a first-person perspective and reads like a time traveler's diary. I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail the author gives us in this novella. The narration is on point and engaging. Overall the story kept my interest. My only criticism is the size of the book. I wanted more details on the construction of the time machine, which is glossed over. This is more of a historical fiction story than science fiction, but I think anyone who likes time travel stories would enjoy this.

Fascinating Time Travellers Story of Pearl Harbour

I bought this audiobook because I was interested in Pearl Harbour and learning more about it. The narrator is easy and clear to listen to. I learned that in the Discussions with General Marshall that the Phillippines would fall. I learned that they were all at risk and the Germans would declare war on us. The First Trip to Pearl Harbour was quite interesting. The top secret meetings were magical. If you are interesting in learning more about Pearl Harbour, I recommend that you buy this book. This is also a good gift for any history buff.

Wonderful Story!

I love anti-history. As a historian and a teacher, I am always considering the what-ifs in history to determine what the outcome could have been if only one thing had happened differently. I recommend this one for anyone who finds themselves doing the same.

Time Travel changing the WWII Pacific outcome

This is a fascinating and well written fictional take on the outcome of the Pacific Theatre events during World War Two, especially focusing on the Pearl Harbor attack in December 1941.

It's obvious that the author has expensive knowledge of wartime history and tactics, and does a wonderful job of putting his knowledge together with such an engaging time travel story. I could almost believe that this alternate outcome of certain events in World War Two actually took place. It reminds me of the Apple TV show "For All Mankind", an alternate drama and sci fi series which shows what might have happened if the US and the USSR had continued with the space race.

I hope that the author of this book writes a second book to accompany this interesting version of history, as I would love to know what the ramifications were to the world at large after his time traveller protagonist changes the course of history through advisory to President Roosevelt and his war chiefs during 1941. I highly recommend this Audible book to anyone with interest in war history. Very enjoyable.

back to the day the japanese attacked Pearl Harbor

A fascinating book that takes place on the day that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. When I was younger, I read a series called Travelers Through Time, which was similar to this book. However, in that series the event still took place, and I couldn't understand what the book was trying to accomplish.

Without giving away any of the book's ending, the purpose of writing it the way it is done in this audiobook is so that you can learn about the happenings in history without being completely bored to death. You are also able to understand how things could have been handled more effectively to prevent human catastrophes. I also believe that this audiobook is an excellent way for middle schoolers and high school students, who may find history to be boring, to learn history in an interesting, engaging and imaginative manner.
