Felt like an eternity waiting for this books audio

When first I read this book I was captured and taken away with the story. My imagination began building the Nordic world from the literature and my love of ancient history. I love everything about this book from the simple to the more complex. My only complaint was how long it took to get the audio version. Now begins the agonizing wait for the rest of the series...

A Fateful Journey

I loved this book. If the books by this author could get any better, this would be it. I read/listened to it in one night. I thought the characters were believable and I rooted for Gareth to the bitter end. I plan to pre-order the next book in the series. The narration was excellent.

Great listening

Although I will say the only bad thing is one of the characters a little hard to understand when talking (no teeth)

Well written and well read Viking Saga

I really enjoyed this audiobook, particularly because of the narrator’s ability to use accented voices which really made the characters come alive. The story was well written and interesting and I’m looking forward to its continuation in book 2.
