Easy to understand

Purchased as a present for my father and he loves it. Explains music theory to people who have never taken a class. He responded quickly and helped me get the information I needed to take advantage fully of the content. Can't say enough good things about that kind of customer experience!

Extremely good, step by step learning

It’s made it very easy and fun to start violin learning for the first time. It is generally quite a daunting thing to undertake, but I do feel that this book makes it much easier as it takes everything step by step and ‘holds your hand’ along the way.

A book well suited for the adult beginner

There is enough variety in terms of beginner songs that it should help most adult beginners. I find choosing a song that I am very familiar with bits of help in the learning process and expression as one has now only to be concerned with fingerings.

Informative.

Very helpful and informative, but not for initial beginners. I picked this book on the off chance that I might find it interesting
and was blown away. Its simplicity and clear, conversational instructions have converted me to try the violin instead.
