Publisher's Summary

Never Underestimate the Power of a Desperate Witch

With the Central Network entrenched in war and teetering on the brink of destruction, 18-year-old Bianca Monroe is determined to defeat Mabel's powerful Almorran magic by finding the Book of Light.

During an attempt to save a burning orphanage, Bianca finds herself caught in a trap. Mabel kidnaps her, taking her to the hot sands of the Western Network where things are not as they seem. Mabel is more dangerous-and unhinged-than she's ever been before.

War of the Networks is the fourth and final book in the thrilling fantasy collection The Network Series. It's a gripping tale about compassion, forgiveness, and surviving against all odds.

A crescendo of the series!

I enjoyed the quickly changing plot of this novel. Like the whole series, it kept me wanting more as I listened. Surprises are constantly popping in and the storyline is flawless. The narration was so good that every voice sounded like a different person entirely. I would recommend this to anyone wrapping up this series that wants a fully immersive environment.

Editor needed

I have a few concerns that I can’t get past. I’ve listened to the network series, the dragon master trilogy and Mildred’s resistance many times. I’m a teacher and I like YA writing. I like the writing, the narration and would recommend the story.
With that said, the patchy replacement narration when antebellum was changed to alkarra is distracting. The random dice roll sounds in one of the books, the repeated line, and the repeated chapter are all things that should have been edited before the story was released. Most of the books still say antebellum, and even this series hasn’t completely replaced the name. It bothers me that in book 2, Merrick’s dad died when he was 12 but in book 4 it says Merrick was 15. I feel as though poor editing and audio production took its toll.

great listen

This story continues with Bianca and her Friends in the full on war of the networks. Mabel has full controle of the south and west. While the north still remains out of the was and central and west fight for their lives. This was a great book with battles, loss, love, and well read the book to find out if they win and if they do at what cost. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes magic, mystery, and well war stories. I hope you find this helpful and hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Enchanting, bewitching, and mysterious

In this book you go down the rabbit hole and chase a book and scrolls, while dealing with multiple witches. Then you get to play with fairies, and magical trees. The characters are rich, and enticing, you will miss them when you complete their story.
