Publisher's Summary

Slay monsters. Bed goddesses. Level up.

Or die trying.

Sam Ryder's life already sucks, and it's about to get worse when he's fired from his dead-end job as a programmer. He's about to head home to escape into his favorite RPG, Alien Civilization, when he's offered a thrill ride on a death machine (AKA motorcycle) by a gorgeous woman straight out of one of his games.

Before Sam can say "WTF?", he's been whisked away to a dark world of monsters and goddesses, his body transformed from Outcast to Warrior, the second level on a ladder that may eventually carry him all the way to Demigod.

Trapped in this horrifying world, Sam must find a way to reignite the dwindling army of Warriors before the legions of monsters breach the ward shields that have protected the three goddesses for centuries. His best chance is to reach the next level: Protector.

Note: Contains monster slaying, cursing, heavy violence, and a bunch of exotic goddesses and alien women. Mature listeners only.

Not for me

This book reads like some guy's private fantasy. It should have stayed private. The characters are lacking, the story doesn't make much sense and the MC's motivation is basically "I'm here so why not".
Hell the author used his own name for the MC that never bodes well.

not worth the money

this book was written for children and for young teenage boys because the sex scenes have more substance in them then the rest of the book. Not worth the credit and for anyone who is looking for a good book to listen to you can pass on this one.

Clogging up the fantasy genre

I really wish writers and readers who want smut would just do smut. Too many books like this one are not fantasy, but sexual fantasy. Putting horns or elf ears on women doesn't make it a fantasy book.

listen to this only if you'd like harlequin

this is a romance novel disguised as a fantasy book. you like heterosexual eroticism in your fantasy novels and this will be for you.

No No No

This book is so bad I want my money and time back form it. I was hoping the book would get better but oh my god I feel sorry for the narrator such a good job on such a terrible book. With a world with God's monsters and fighting and it's just so dull. this one's not for me

Dear god no.

Wish fulfillment can be really fun, but this is trying to hard.
Don't do it to yourself.

Luckily, it didn't cost a credit

The narrator made a decent effort to make this book palatable. However, the storyline is mediocre with wasted potential.
The whole book feels like it was written by a horny teenager.
If I had a credit every time when something moved under his loin cloth, I would be set for a good while with audio books.

Salacious content spoilt it

Salacious content spoilt it. Not that I’m a prude but teenage fantasies enhanced anatomise added every few paragraphs was unnecessary narrator was good considering the material he had to work with, but this was just a male fantasy computer game as an audio book.

Monster slayer

A very interesting start to the story and a fantastic build up to the events of the off world that the protagonist has been taken to, would like to continue the follow ups

Aimed at young guys

I had to keep asking myself if I wanted to keep reading about a horny young looser guy who plays computer games to escape his dull life. I reminded myself that most such stories start with a central character who will develop.
I read until the end, finding some character development. it was not the best version of geeky guy who gets transported into an alien world and transformed into a warrior. I tired of the committed sexy descriptions of women and the continued need for sex to propel the story. This is not a writer that compels me. Nor the performer. I give them props for their efforts however.
