Publisher's Summary

He's a supernova....Wild and untamed, but I refuse to let his light die. If need be, I'll be that light for him. We'll end this together

The body count is rising in Maywood Heights, and Royal seems determined to add to that number. He wants to take out those who hurt Paige. Though I want justice too, I'm not sure how far his need for revenge will take him. These flames might consume him in the end. If we're not careful, they may destroy all of us - Royal's boys and myself included in that number.

Something dark and deeply wicked looms over the town, Maywood Heights, but I'm determined to stand next to Royal, Knight, Jax, and LJ, to do what needs to be done. My sister will get justice in this town. She deserves it, and we'll be the ones to bring it to her....I just hope the ultimate price in the end isn't our souls.

Warning: This enemies-to-lovers, high school romance contains some dark themes and light bullying. The book is not a standalone, as it is book four, in a four-part series of full-length novels. Royal Prinze is the only hero of this tale....Good luck getting him to share.

What a series!!

I knew it! Omg I freaking knew it!!!
.
I have been so invested in this series since I received the first book to arc read and my obsession grew further into the series we got. Such an amazing conclusion to this series. The build up almost killed me knowing the big reveals and epic show down was going to happen, it was just a matter of when!
.
A surprise twist that I am more than living for because I did NOT see that coming. Em and Royal have come a long way especially Royal. Both characters have grown so much through the series, both as individuals and as a unit. I enjoyed seeing the “guys” more in this book and who they really are behind closed doors. It was so refreshing compared to how we saw them in the first three books.
.
There’s definitely some realism to this series which I love but also that thread of an unrealistic nature which makes the book exciting which shows in this book more than the others in the series. While I loved this book and how it was spaced out I would have liked it to be a bit longer and had more breadcrumb moments to really boost the anticipation more than what it was but also something to throw in a curveball that showed it could have been possibly one person or another then hit us with that surprising twist like a double whammy. Even showcase a couple key characters from previous books a bit more then the time they had in this one. Either way this book was still exciting and thrilling to read. The narrator brought this book to life and I loved it. Still a favourite series of mine!
.
I laughed, I cried, I almost passed out from holding my breath with anticipation, anxiety running wild, I experienced it all and I’d happily put myself through that again!
.
The tension, excitement, anticipation, suspense had me gripped from the first page. Honestly a great series and I highly recommend this series to everyone.

We the Pretty Stars

We the Pretty Stars is the last book in the Court High series. These books need to be read in order as this book starts off right where book three ends. This book is told from multiple points of view. Mainly from December, a few chapters from Royal and Ramses, and a chapter or two from Paige.

December is still on a mission to find out what really happened to her sister Paige. I had my guesses who Paige was having an affair with, but there were so many twists and turns in this book that I didn't see coming.

Will December finally get the answers she deserves? Will she bring justice to those who wronged her sister? Will she get her happy ending with Royal? Will she continue her friendship with Ramses? Will her father finally treat her like the daughter she is?

I loved this series so much, and the audio version really brought these characters to life!

Closure

This was such a great conclusion to an emotional series. Royal learns to let go of guilt, & together Royal & December also manage to finally get closure about Paige.
It was a fulfilling end.

dark, intense

December grew stronger and independent throughout this series.
With the help of the guys they were determined to find who Paige's killer was. The closer they got to the answer the more intense the story became.
Eden O'Neill's Court High series is filled with secrets , suspense, twists and turns.
Kasi Hallowell and Gregory Salinas narration is perfection. They bring depth to each character. I can feel each moment of emotion, anguish, anger, torment, throughout the story. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Court High Series!

We the Pretty Stars (Court High, Book 4) is the final book in this fabulous series and wraps up the series perfectly. I absolutely loved this series. This story pulls all the stops, with this exceptional finale. Deception, good friends, romance, suspense and unexpected twists intricately weaved into the pages of this intriguing listen. I absolutely loved the flashbacks. Kept on the edge all the way through and weaved through the pages answers are given. An excellent ending to this dark twisted new adult romance. Top notch series.

Kasi Hollowell, Gregory Salinas dual narration brings this new adult romance series to reality. Kasi Hollowell has a inflection that I could listen to all day. Her tone compelling and passionate and I also love Gregory Salinas tone. His hint of danger and mystery is fun to listen. Excellent narration.

Amazing Ending to this Awesome Series

Title: We the Pretty Stars
Author: Eden O'Neill

Narrators: Gregory Salinas, Kasi Hollowell
Genre: Romance, NA
Standalone: No
Part of a Series: Book 4 of Court High
POV: Royal, December, Paige
Steam Level: Toasty
5/5

We the Pretty Stars is the final book in the Court High series. The first three must be read first.

I listened to this entire book in a day which wasn't my intention but happened anyway. I figured out in book 3 who Paige was having an affair with (or at least I was mostly sure). But in We the Pretty Stars we find out more about the breakup that started everything. I loved the addition of Paige's POV from before she died. While I guessed who Paige had an affair with, other details emerged throughout We the Pretty Stars that threw other details out of whack. What really happened? Who is responsible? Who knows what and when did they know? And, why is December's Dad acting so weird? The details surrounding Paige's death and the climax of this book, this series is intense and unexpected but not surprising upon reflection of other incidents throughout this series. Eden O'Neill's Court High series is amazing and kept getting better with each book.

I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsessions and Pink Flamingo Productions. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Meh

I've had this series on my wishlist for a while. It wasn't very good. I kept thinking it would get better. Book 3 was good. It's ridiculous that the books are so short and 4 books. Could have been done in 1 or 2. So greedy!

Predictable but not?

This was a great storyline. It wasn’t your typical bully high school romance but so much more. I predicted who the sister Paige was seeing but did not predict who was behind it all and how it went down. I love the relationship between December and Royal and December and Ramses. I kinda wished that Ramses had gotten with December but she already had eyes for Royal. I’m glad the end tied everything up but was also disappointed how it thru all of the loose ends together. Still a great read….now its onto the other two court series!

Wow what an ending!!

So I knew book 4 was gonna be high octane based on all the answers to the secrets we are dying to know being unanswered at the end of book 3. This book does not disappoint, it gave a lot of ode to the series in terms of the mystery, mayhem, and miscommunication (that lead to some bad blow ups with Em and Royal) but book 4 really brought us on the journey Em must go through regarding the murder of her sister and learning what happened that night. I wont give stuff away but some stuff shocked me. I had some of the major key players correct but then the author threw some other curveballs at us to keep us on our toes. The emotions were fab from all the characters (be them bad or good). I really felt like they had finally developed the family that was talked about throughout the first 3 books ❤️

This book was the most emotional yet. I broke down crying once Em was told all the information the group had collected so far, So much emotional baggage, and still we all felt lighter after listening/reading because Em finally got her closure, We learn more about her sister’s secret lover (who also had a stalker??) and about what lengths someone will go to prove their loyalty and devotion. I thought this series was well-paced and stuff wasnt drawn out or rushed. I figure out the secret lover really early but I was shocked by the murderer, I thought it was someone else who was close but got it wrong haha.

I really loved seeing the characters be there for one another, they would know when the other needed more, need safety and comfort from others, etc. Doing some perusing it looks like the other guys get their own stories so I am really looking forward to that (especially after this book where we learn more about the 3 best friends of Royal)!!

in terms of the narration, Kasi was stellar as always and I love Gregory Salinas’ tone (I do wish his different personas were more different so you could easily distinguish them all without knowing who was actually talking. Other than that, 5/5 stars from me!!

Probably my favorite of the series

This conclusion is, I think, my favorite of the entire series. We get all the loose ends tied, and get some answers I never would've guessed. This story is everything I ever wanted and then some. Eden O'Neill has created this world, that is full of romance, angst, suspense and true friendship and loyalty. I enjoyed finally seeing Royal stepping up and becoming the guy December needed him to be.
The narration was a bliss as well. Highly recommend the entire series.

Amazing series finale

We The Pretty Stars, Court High Book 4 by Eden O’Neill
Narration by Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas

Amazing Finale

Eden has created a world that is full of angst and suspense, romance, as well as true friendship that links December to Royal, and the other court guys; Jax, Knight, and LJ. It was great seeing it all come together. Getting the answers to all of the questions that abounded in the mysterious death of Paige and in the previous books. Eden writes in a way that has you shocked and surprised by the twists and frustrated when the answers seem to float just out of reach. But she pulls it all in and I for one, breathed a sigh of relief. Don’t want to give away anything but so glad the monsters got their due! I was so happy to get the reasons for why the court guys did what they did in protecting December along the way. It’s a story that captures your emotions and your attention and holds it there. You really will want to hear the series in order.

This narration team was what held me fully engaged in each and every book of this series. Kasi’s amazing as December and really pulls out the emotional dealings of the incredibly resilient December. As well as her friends. Gregory is fast becoming a favourite of this genre with boys who turn into men because he’s not afraid to express a little wickedness when needed yet also easily shows a softer side too!

Amazing series, get all of the books now!

Spectacular Ending to an Amazing Series!

This series has been one wild and mind-blowing thought provoking ride and Eden O’Neil keeps up the momentum and delivers an equally mind-blowing finale and I could say I seriously did not see that coming. This book picks up where “Court Kept” ended and lots of things were unresolved and because of all the twists and turns, some answers only raised more questions. The author weaved one complex and twisted tale and she unravels it right before your very eyes in this book, not only answering the questions that had you wondering but pulling the rug out from under you when revealing who was really behind it all. I loved how this series pulled me in and how it consumed my mind. The world building and character growth have been phenomenal throughout the series and it all pays off in this book. It was great to see how much each of character grow into their own. I rooted for December the entire series, Royal Prinze redeemed himself along the way and in many ways and we finally get to see who he really is as a person in this book. His minions, court buddies, Knight, Jax and LJ were all amazing and were with him the entire way. t was also great to see Ramses and Royal kind of come to an understanding. There were a lot of other great characters in this series and I was happy to see them again get updates on them, including Birdie and her teammates. Eden O’Neil did a wonderful job wrapping everything up in a tidy way. I highly recommend this series, it is a brilliantly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, action, twists and turns, mystery, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Eden O’Neill, thank you for the amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas continue to do an outstanding job bringing these characters and their story to life. They have been consistent with the character voices for every character they played and did so with a complete understanding of each character’s persona, sounding believable that every role and just as I pictured the characters to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

The suspense!

For starters, let me just say thank god! I'm so glad things worked out the way they did in the end, I was seriously concerned for awhile there.

December is stronger than she ever thought possible and that's all thanks to the men in her life. I loved watching her realize her strength and watching her grow and succeed!

Royal was the biggest pain in my heart for most of these books. I loved him, I hated him, I was so lost and confused on how I should feel about him. Is he good? Is he bad?

Then there was Ramses, my goodness I loved him and need to know his whole life! Like seriously my obsession with him is unhealthy..

I wanted justice for Paige so bad, I wanted to see the people responsible get what they deserved. I had so many ideas and I thought I knew everything. I knew what happened, I knew who did it.. It was so obvious, but wow I was sooo wrong! I had NO IDEA and I was shocked by the truth. I did not see that coming.

This book was a wild ride and I was holding on for dear life and didn't want it to ever stop.

Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas were AMAZING!! This book was everything I wanted it to be!

O'Neill delivers again!

We the Pretty Stars, the fourth and final book in the Court High series, is a wonderfully written, enemies-to-lovers, dark high school romance. The storyline is fast-paced, engaging, and totally engrossing, loaded with drama, angst, secrets, suspense, mind-blowing revelations, surprising twists and turns. I was kept right at the edge of my seat, wondering how December's story was going to conclude. One of my favourite parts was Paige's PV; it was sad but great learning her side of things, providing much-needed insight into what had really happened and how she'd died. O'Neill brought all the puzzle pieces together perfectly, bringing the story to a satisfying conclusion.

Court High is a fantastic and cleverly written quartet. So much happens in the series, deception, secrets, murder, and so many twists. I recommend reading or listening to all four books in order. December and Royal's relationship was one up and after another down and so much drama in-between; I'm glad they finally found a happy ending.

The narration is outstanding! Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas did a fantastic job portraying the characters and their complicated emotions. They definitely breathed life into O'Neill's words and made the story and characters come to life. Overall, We the Pretty Stars was a fantastic listen and an excellent addition to the series, and one I'll recommend.

December and Royal!

December and Royal have finally found their way to each other and this time it is for keeps. As mayhem continues to envelope Maywood Heights Royal starts to share with December more about the past both as it relates to his painful childhood and Paige. As December, Royal, LJ, Jax and Knight come closer to the truth it propels the real threat to emerge and the person behind it and their reasons may surprise you.

I enjoyed seeing Royal become the man that December needed him to be as well as her deepening friendships with his boys and the special friendship she shares with Ramses.

Suspense, secrets and surprises as December and Royal finally get the answers they need and find each other along the way. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they brought out all the intrigue, emotion and romance of the story. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

We the Pretty Stars

Wow what an epic ending to this series. This is the final book in the Court High series. This series started off with the tragic death of Paige, December’s sister. December knew that something wasn’t right when it came back as a drunken accident/ suicide. That just wasn’t her sister. December moved back in with her dad to discover the truth behind Paige’s death. Along the way she fell in love with Prince, Paige’s best friend. Together they finally found out the truth behind it all. This series was intense along the way, but truly amazing. Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas did a phenomenal job narrating this book!

Fantastic finale!

What a story! This finale has it all! Romance, suspense, good friends, deception twists and turn, you name it and Eden O'Neill provides it! We pick up where book 3 left off, and December and Royal are together! YAY! But is it something to rejoice? There are still so many unanswered questions. What really happened to Paige? And now a second student death is giving up more questions, bringing us additional suspects and all it does is bring Royal and December closer together. We flash from the past to the present and slowly we get the answers, Ones we certainly don't expect. This is what I love about the series. O'Neill keeps us on the edge, completely invested and ravenous to find the answers. It's a fantastic listen and series. Yes, you must listen to all 4 books in order to get the whole picture and hours of enjoyment that I had. If you love dark, twisted, new adult romance, then this is the series for you!

The best team of narrators for new adult romance brings this series to it's end. Gregory Salinas is so good, creating a hint of danger, a bit of mystique and a feeling of love. He is the perfect Royal and his friends. Plus his interpretation of those involved(I am not going to give it away) has a creepy quality, exactly the voice. Kasi Hollowell has such a good voice and she creates strong, passionate December. She brings out all of her emotions and makes it realistic. I loved this series and their performances!
