Finn and Juliet

First.... I could listen to Richard Sawyer talk all day his voice is yummy! Juliet and Finn meet and immediately have this crazy chemistry and she let's down her need to plan and be in control and quickly falls in love. I liked that there was no real drama especially on Finns part he wasnt some broody man who started off being mean but he was a sweet and loving man from the get go. The Narration was great on this book and I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.

Fun times

This audio was so fun! I loved Finn and Juliet. They really pulled each other out of their comfort zones. This was a first for me with these narrators and I liked them a lot

This is a story of a girl who is 28 and thought her life was going as planned, until her boyfriend dumped her.
when her girlfriends take her on a trip to Jetty Beach and end up with food poisoning she meets the handsome bartender who offers to show her around.
Juliette is a planner and doesn't like surprises.
She decides to be spontaneous for once and things really start to heat up.

Finn isn't in a relationship.
he prefers to live in the present and not worry about his future.
So when he offers to show Juliette the town, he can't figure out why he can't stop thinking about her and his need to be consumed by her.

This is a fast paced love story that is so hot it will combust in your hands.

Ava Lucas, does such a great job portraying Juliette.
I love her in flections and her pace at which she reads.
She really does an awesome job with Finns character too.

As for, Richard Sawyer, you could just feel him get into the part, especially when Finn was ranting and raving to himself trying to figure out what was happening in his life.
I loved when he would use the Irish accent.

I would highly recommend this story.

A great listen

I first picked up Claire Kingsley's books when she co-wrote the Bootleg Springs series, so there were a number of her books I hadn't read. It has been fun working my way through her backlist, and I have especially enjoyed listening to them on audio!

Juliet and Finn had such wonderful chemistry and it really came through in the narration. I loved seeing the two of them go from fling to falling for one another.

The book is a fairly quick read/listen but nothing felt rushed nor did it feel like the relationship development was lacking. This was an entertaining and engaging read with wonderful writing and narration!

Finn... oh just love him

I read this book first and was super excited for it to come out on Audible. I love the sweet simplicity that is this series!! Finn is one of my favorite characters. Juliette is an okay character for me. I loved her when I read her. but for some reason I wasn't a fan of Juliette when Ava Lucas narrated. I like Ava Lucas as a female. but when she does multiple characters and her male character voice comes in she drives me bonkers. Richard Sawyer totally kicked ass. I loved him!!

Not planning for the win!

As someone who like to plan and make lists to follow Juliet’s best friends taking her for a surprise birthday weekend was the start of her relearning how to live. Ava Lucas does a fabulous job of portraying the different emotions and reactions to the changes in her life and how she learns to just go with the flow.
Finn is the opposite. No planning, just doing what he wants when he wants and not worrying about what tomorrow will bring. Richard Sawyer gives him a wonderful Irish accent and just seems to bring out the playfulness of his personality and spirit.
This is a sure case of opposites attracting and it was a complete joy to listen to from start to finish. Claire you are fabulous! Thank you for another amazing journey!!!

Juliet and Finn

Hot wicked attraction, a man with an Irish lilt,, who lives life on the fly and a woman who has OCD and planning tendencies meet at Fins bar on her birthday gone wrong. Attraction smacks the both and a birthday weekend with the girls turns into a weekend fling, but there desire and feelings turn into much more, until their beliefs of relationships get in the way. Bit their hearts bring them back to get their HEA.

What a birthday celebration!

Claire Kingsley knocks another one out of the park with Weekend Fling (previously titled Could Be Forever). Finn is almost too good to be true!

When Juliet's friends get food poisoning during her girls' weekend away to celebrate her birthday, she ends up drinking solo at Finn's bar... and gets a lot more than just a few drinks from the sexy owner! Finn offers to show her around town the next day, her birthday, and their all-day date is just about perfect from start to finish. But Juliet is such a control-freak planner, going with the flow is NOT in her wheelhouse -- nor is sleeping with a guy she barely knows. But Finn brings out a spontaneity in her that Juliet never knew she was capable of.

And Finn.... oh, Finn. What a great book boyfriend! Their dinner date the night of her birthday was swoon-worthy. Their break-up got me all choked up. And their make-up made me feel all fluttery. Juliet and Finn are such a sweet, endearing couple. Their chemistry is off-the-charts, and the HEA that they get at the end brought a tear to my eye.

I first read this book back in 2017 under its original title, Could Be Forever. It has since been retitled Weekend Fling, which I think is a much more fitting title for Finn and Juliet's story. Sure, it ends up being forever, but it all starts with a one-night stand. Having read Claire Kingsley for several years now, I can tell just how much she's grown as a writer after rereading -- well, listening -- to this book all over again five years later. Narrators Ava Lucas and Richard Sawyer do a great job of telling Juliet and Finn's tale and I felt like I was falling in love with this pair for the first time! I could listen to Richard and that sexy Irish accent all night long!

Instalust Magic!

I mean who doesn't LOVE a good Irish accent and man did Richard come thru on that. Ava is the perfect Juliet she really acts the part where you can close your eyes and see the book come to life!
Juliet aka Sprinkles aka Type A personality planner is sprung on a quick girls weekend after a breakup and its her birthday! When she randomly meets a Irish fella in his own bar, he ends up with some photos of her, they get to talking and as the nice gentleman takes her out for her birthday. What about her friends? Well guess you have to read/listen to find out! I love The Jetty Beach Series these are great non- angst stories!

Enjoyable listen

I loved the voice range of the cast for this listen. They were pleasant and captured my impressions of what the characters sounded like when I read the novel.
Juliet and Finn were a pleasure to listen to and enjoy.
