Publisher's Summary

Is this even a question? What is a woman? But all of a sudden, way too many people don’t seem to know the answer. Is a woman a woman just by feeling or acting a particular way? Aren’t gender roles just a “social construct”? Can a woman be “trapped in a man’s body”? Does being a woman mean anything at all?

We used to think being a woman had something to do with biology, but the nation’s top experts keep assuring us that is definitely not the case. So Matt decided to do what no man (whatever that means) had done before. He sat down with the experts and asked them directly.

In What Is a Woman?, our hero:

  • Discovers that no one—not doctors, therapists, psychiatrists, or politicians—can actually define the word woman
  • Hilariously convinces a radical gender therapist that Matt is questioning his own gender identity
  • Uncovers the shocking and horrifying roots of radical gender ideology
  • Learns exactly how activists and ideologues are trying to brainwash our kids
  • Reveals a strategy to defeat the collective insanity that has taken over our society

Join Matt on his often comical yet deeply disturbing journey as he answers the question generations before us never knew they needed to ask: What is a woman?

The Emperor’s New Clothes

This is a modern day example of The Emperor’s New Clothes. No one will say the truth until one young boy speaks plainly that the Emperor has no clothes on. Matt Walsh is clearly and plainly speaking the truth. The truth that culture, science, and religion have agreed upon for thousands of years. The truth that we all know but some refuse to see.

A book that all teens and people need to read

I listen to Matt Walsh a lot. I agree quite frequently. This has been hard for me as I have a lesbian daughter and I see what it is doing to our world. It's causing undo strain on our children. Matt had a lot more he could have said but he was very honest, very truthful. I try to talk to the trans community or LGBT community and all I seem to get is, "everything we say is right, nothing you say is". I knew of some that protested July 4th, but I tried to tell them that what freedoms you have here, they would not have in Iran or Iraq and be grateful for all this country has given you. It doesn't have to be indoctrination, let people make their own decisions, but I see with my own eyes it's not happening and every day is worse. Matt opens our eyes to what is happening in a thoughtful, honest manner without hate, without being mean. He just asks questions. This is what he got. A read for all!

Not really a journey to answer any question!

If you're looking for the story of a right-wing ideologue trying to beat evolving gender roles into submission with "conservative logic", THIS is the book for you. NO BUENO for me!

Unbelievable

How can a first world nation have so much time to sit around and do nothing but think about how to complicate a simple reality and make it so confusing for innocent children learn from their evil agenda to doubt their own identity. Thank you Matt Walsh for making it clear for all and helping the parents have courage and wherewithal to protect their children. God bless us all.

Shocking

This is book exposes the degree to which the woke ideology has become part of nearly every system in America. It is shocking. I thought I was in the know about this, but the information in this book surprised even me.

Truth hurts

Enjoyed the perspective of normalcy here and showing just how crazy ideals have become to people who are lost and confused.

Its an absolutely amazing book.

I loved reading through it. The author really did a good job explaining many topics really well.. I'd recommend everyone to read this book. It will definitely help you to understand more in detail about sex and gender identity, and the effects it has on the society and our children. I couldn't put my book down even for a second until I reached the end.

loved it

I listen to a lot of nonfiction and fiction books, summer dry and are great for putting me to sleep. this book is absolutely fantastic. Matt did a superb job breaking down the insanity of the trans movement and the abuse and harm that it causes the children. It's not just his word, this book is entirely made up of interviews with the world leaders in the so-called trance movement... listen to it and decide for yourself.

Hard hitting truths.

If you find yourself in a world gone mad! Where people try to tell you “ up can be down and down can be up, you just have to believe it/think it for it to be so” and need to hear some sanity again. This book is for you. It’s time for reality not “your truth” to come back to the masses.

Absolute dynamite

Having watched the accompanying documentary, I wasn't sure the book would add much to the cause. I was very wrong indeed. This book is incredibly powerful. I will also be buying a physical copy.

👏👏👏

I came from the movie clips. the work that have been done and the effort not just to create something like this, covering so many aspects, but to withstand to hear and discuss this logically with an open heart and brain is brilliant. if anyone is searching for the Truth this is a good start.
I know its not the writer speciality but I wish that it contained more of a critical appraisal for all the medical studies that talk about these topics or support them. because this will reveal alot of things for people believing only in science.

Outstanding debunking of gender garbage.

Matt Walsh has produced one of the most important cultural and political books of the time. Clearly and succinctly he delves into the dark recesses of gender theory, describing its Marxist foundations and the degenerate individuals who developed these lunatic theories. As we go on, we learn about the heartbreaking damage done to children or the mentally vulnerable by these gender idealogues, based on junk science and social science classes. Near the end, sanity begins to return, and we encounter people who are opposing this cruel movement and in that we can see the beginning of the fightback against transgender lunatics and their false creed. An absolute must listen to or read.

As I don't live in america I do not worry about the issues presented in this book. However this can be taken as a warning of things to come. A very informative and interesting read. We'll worth a purchase

Insight into gender ideology and where its heading

Love'd it, just simple questions we all need to know and should know allready.

Only critique would be that it feels a little short. And at certain points at the end of a line the audio cutoff early, also with swear words.

Have to complement and respect Matt Walsh for his patience and overall great work on this documentary

eyes opening

Matt Walsh is unfolding uncomfortable truth about the history of the new created "reality". I knew something was wrong about the new ideology, but I never had a chance to look into the history or into the procedure (abuse) of becoming who the person feels to be, or the whole madness which day by day is normalised by mainstream media, but the author is not afraid of being insensitive to the feelings, he is asking uncomfortable questions and a yeah he doesn't back up for one second. It is not about love and acceptance, it is about the abuse, madness and lies. To conclude the answer of what is women cannot be answered by the gender specialists as non of them are not able to define one, but you can find it in biology! Great book and great author! Thank you!

A tricky topic covered from a different perspective

Although covering the topic of transgenderism from a very conservative viewpoint sounds like it could only be terrible, this book raises some very important issues and is a must listen.

Matt Walsh seems surprisingly open minded and compassionate and raises some issues that the mainstream seems to only want to bury and pretend don’t exist.

How the "Sausage" is made

rovocateur and professional fuddy-duddy Matt Walsh is back with a healthy dose of reality for the left (made to look like it was accidentally mixed in with their therapy medications) in an attempt to, however futile, save the more nihilistic of his fellow countrymen and countrywomen from themselves. Worth a listen if you don't want to sit through the film this is largely adapted word for word from.

The movie was great, the book is even better!

I have been involved in this struggle for quite some time now. There is stuff in this book I was not aware of, delivered with the signature dry wit that made me a Matt Walsh fan from day 1. So glad Matt narrated this one himself, not the same without him!
