Just Right For Me!

I was dealing with bad eating habits for the past few years and needed some guidance. This audiobook gave me life-changing advice that I will spread with family and friends. At the end of listening, I tried the 15-day plan and it works miracles. I feel and look so much better now. I did not stop after 15 days and have kept up my healthy diet. Thank you for providing such quality information for us to "devour".

Awesome!

I cannot recommend this book enough! I really thought I wasn't going to do good after feeling so bad all the time, but after listening to this and after I started eating good, I really saw a big difference. I really enjoyed it!

Whole Food PBE inspires me

Hughie Parks' book inspired me to lose the extra weight without going on a strict diet. There are so many ideas that should help as I realize it is more than just food - I need to change my whole lifestyle. Hopefully my tiredness will pass when I eat more beans, vegetables, and fruit, and less chicken. My arthritis should not be a problem for me if I eat anti-inflammatory foods, but pizza and ice cream may continue to be a problem occasionally.

Take your diet to another level!

We all know plant-based diets are just the healthiest option out there, but in a world of processed and fast foods, it can be hard unless. you have help. This book is that help. It provides valuable information and delicious plant-based recipes that make eating plant-based loads easier! Not only does this book provide recipes but it also tells you why you are eating what you are eating and the benefits of plant-based. That aspect alone encouraged me so much and gave me confidence in the recipes. While I am relatively new to eating plant-based, it is safe to say I will be staying here a while thanks to this book. If you are considering going plant-based and just want to learn more or you are plant-based and you need new information and recipes this is your book.

This book pushed me to stay on track.

I have just started plant based diet 8 months ago now purely because I wanted to save humanity and mother earth and that I need to NOT eat animals and any product related to it. But I haven’t really studied the diet itself and how I can make it sustainable and get the best out of it for my body. 4 weeks ago I had a drastic muscle wasting only because I started working out at home wanting to grow a muscle not knowing I actually needed more protein intake for the goal. Sadly I had to eat chicken breast again with the fear that vegan diet is not enough to at least grow my normal muscles back. I am so glad I found this book as it did not only teach me how to get enough protein even if I cut out animal products, but also made me understand and appreciate my resources to sustain this lifestyle. This morning was definitely the last time I’m eating chicken breast. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook because it is not only informational but also encouraging, the author also shared real life stories that would motivate and affirm you to stay on track.

It has great recipes, covers how to get all the nutrients you need, and addresses most of the common myths around this lifestyle.

Great info!

I’ve got a history of heart disease in my family so I decided I needed to change my lifestyle, most notably the way that I eat. This book contains tons of useful information on different types of diets and strategies for adapting to each person’s individual needs. The important thing is finding something that will work for you and sticking to it! I’m looking forward to trying them out. Thank you!

Certainly has changed my mind

I got this book to find out what goes on in the heads of non meat eaters. I was expecting to scoff but I thought I might learn at least a few things so I was willing to go in with an open mind. I'm actually astounded by the information in this book. This is the most convinced I've been about leaving the meat behind and going purely plant based. It's not just about what you eat but how it is digested. If you're a fan of plant based or a sceptical carnivore, I thoroughly recommend this book either way it's an eye-opener!

Very Helpful!

I’ve been wanting to make the switch from my regular diet to a plant based diet, and this book really helped me get my mind around it. The section about eliminating oils and the section about paying attention/regulating my hunger cues was especially helpful in building my confidence in being able to be successful with this big change. I would highly recommend this book!

Feel the Benefits Quickly

I have wanted to go Plant-based for a while now to help me feel better and for my digestion. Having heard so much about it and wanting to do it but not knowing where to start! Inspired me to improve my diet

What an inspiring book, with loads of success stories of people who have overcome severe disease by switching to this way of eating.
Well-researched helpful information presented in an easy to read way.I am already eating a mostly plant-based diet but this has made me even more enthusiastic.
As an aging baby boomer I really feel the results of over-indulging in unhealthy foods particulalry in stiffness and joint pain and I am determined that this year is the year I reclaim vibrant health. This book will help me do that!

The most important thing you can do right now is to listen to the entire audiobook. Here's why: it takes a minimum of three hours to digest the information and make changes that will last a lifetime. Absolutely brilliant!

I love this audiobook! I have been so curious about a plant based lifestyle for a while so I wanted to know more. What I like so much is the detail this goes into about nutrition, hunger cues and how to have a high protein without eating chicken and other meat proteins. I do like meat but I know how the meat industry is the biggest polluter on the planet and the meat we get in the supermarkets are not the same quality as free range, grass fed meats. These are so expensive so I feel a plant based diet is the way to go, plus the health benefits are undeniable! I also really like the narration and the obvious passion the author has. Highly recommended!

Your body will thank you!

I have recently started the WFPB diet and my body has never felt so good!
This book is a comprehensive guide which includes all aspects of WFPB : benefits, myths, tips and advice.
I especially liked that this book takes into consideration some common concerns, like how to get protein with this kind of diet, how to survive the holidays or family dinners or friends celebrations.
Moreover, it includes inspiring and motivating stories of people, who changed and saved their lives thanks to the WFPB diet.
