Story
American Individualism has been the crown jewel of a nation that has prioritized God, family, and freedom to out-dream its obstacles. It is the freedom of this individual spirit that is under attack by its adversarial ideology, Marxist Socialism. This destructive ideology has resulted in “killing fields” of bodies, souls, and dreams of billions worldwide. Consistent is the destruction of manhood, womanhood, the family, and every pillar that supports love of God and country. Why I Stand documents an ideology that uses trust to divide and betray.

Story
In the summer of 2020, America was under siege by radical antifa actors across the country. But if you were only reading mainstream headlines, you probably have no idea just how bad it really was. As homes and businesses were being burned to the ground and livelihoods were being destroyed, corporate media engaged in a full-scale attempt to gaslight the American people, pushing Orwellian narratives about the violent riots by mislabeling them as peaceful, democratic demonstrations, all seemingly to bolster their biased political views.

Who she is, how she did it, and who tried to stop her is a fascinating story of personal triumph and political intrigue that has never been told…until now.

Behind a smokescreen of “preparing students for the new industrial economy,” early progressives had political control in mind. America’s original schools didn’t just make kids memorize facts or learn skills; they taught them to think freely and arrive at wisdom. They assigned the classics, inspired love of God and country, and raised future citizens that changed the world forever. Battle for the American Mind is the untold story of the Progressive plan to neutralize the basis of our Republic—by removing the ingredient that had sustained Western Civilization.

However, with the full support of the mainstream media, "Black Lives Matter" activists and other leftist groups immediately pounced on the tragedy, exploiting Breonna's death and twisting the story—in some cases, telling outright lies—to bolster a shameful “All Cops Are Bastards" narrative and radical “Defund the Police" agenda.

It is now in vogue to celebrate non-Western cultures and disparage Western ones. Some of this is a much-needed reckoning, but much of it fatally undermines the very things that created the greatest, most humane civilization in the world. In The War on the West, Douglas Murray shows how many well-meaning people have been fooled by hypocritical and inconsistent anti-West rhetoric.

The average Christian in America does not know what his own religion teaches, nor does he care. He may call himself “Christian”, but he lives his life exactly as he wishes, making no attempt to conform his conduct to the commands and tenets of his religion. Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh confronts his fellow Christians in this bold, clear-eyed book that serves as an urgent reminder of Matthew 7:13 - "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."

It wasn’t long ago that liberal icons, including the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, were against the idea of overhauling the court for political gain. But now, in the Biden era, more and more powerful Democrats are getting behind the cause, claiming the high court is broken and actively dismantling our democracy. What changed? Mike Lee reveals the answer to that question and warns of the dangerous norm-shattering precedent that would be set by politically motivated attempts to turn the Supreme Court into just another partisan weapon.

Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

In this candid memoir, Barr takes listeners behind the scenes during seminal moments of the 1990s, from the LA riots to Pan Am 103 and Iran Contra. Thirty years later, Barr faced an unrelenting barrage of issues, such as Russiagate, the COVID outbreak, civil unrest, the impeachments, and the 2020 election fallout.

The Bodies of Others is about how we came to the harrowing civilizational crossroads at which we find ourselves—engaged in a war against vast impersonal forces with limitless power over our lives and which threaten the freedoms we have always taken for granted. In her most provocative book yet, Dr. Naomi Wolf shows how these forces—from Big Tech and Big Pharma to the CCP and our oligarchical elites—seized upon two years of COVID-19 panic in sinister new ways, to not only undermine our republic but to fundamentally reorient human relations.

Democrats, the news media, and many leading Republicans immediately blamed the roughly four-hour disturbance on President Trump. The president “incited an insurrection”, the American pubic was told. But one year later, the original narrative of what happened that day has crumbled while hundreds of Americans have been swept up in an unprecedented investigation led by Joe Biden’s Justice Department to punish them for their involvement in the January 6 protest. The public has been misled - and flat-out lied to - about that day. This book exposes them all.

As a young man, Vince Ellison began his career in the belly of the beast—as a prison guard working in the worst cellblock imaginable. And it was to his dismay and sadness that he has seen that same evil later in life. This time, not in the faces of incarcerated criminals, but rather in the eyes of the leaders of the Democratic party. In this persuasive work, Vince marshals his own experience and couples it with a learned and original analysis to conclude that the leaders of America's "progressive" party aren't just wrong on their policy stances—they are deliberately destructive.

Publisher's Summary
On July 31, 2020, sixth pick in the 2017 NBA draft Jonathan Isaac of the Orlando Magic was the lone NBA player to stand for the national anthem amid a league-wide demonstration of kneeling in solidarity against racial injustice. In Why I Stand, Jonathan pulls back the curtain and shares his story of how, through a series of divine connections and a willingness to follow Christ, his fear and insecurity-driven life transformed into one of confidence and purpose.

This is such a great book! It’s not political at all. It’s all about finding salvation and having a strong identity in Christ! The way God has shown up and worked in Jonathons life is amazing! I loved the honesty and detail in the authors writing. I’m buying this book for my nephews to read next. This would be a great book for a boys bible study or small group to comb through.

Great understanding of Christian growth
I don’t follow basketball so I had no idea who this young man was. It really didn’t matter to the story that he told about his life and how his relationship with God grew from knowing of God to really knowing God. God can change lives but it doesn’t happen all at once. However, it is important for us all to follow Jonathan Isaacs stand for what is right if you are a Christian. It is hard when we live in a world that is so antithetical against Christianity. Many see Christianity as a religion. Christianity is not about a religion. To be a Christian is about a relationship with God and growing with Him as we become Christ followers.

Sure, we didn’t grow up to playin the NBA but so much of Jonathan’s story is relatable to our lives. I admire his courage, and most importantly his call to action which started when he recognized the holy spirit. I look forward to hearing the rest of the story as his life story continues. Hope for humanity
I have listened to around thirty audible books and this has renewed my faith and hope for mankind. It is definitely an inspiration when young people growing up in todays society have the courage to stand for something worth standing for. With the belief in God at an all time low, people like Johnathan sharing his story create the possibility of changing that statistic.
Many of societies problems today are explained in his story and how he was able to work through them instead of becoming another statistic.
With his help and guidance from Doc and the combined efforts of those willing to take a stand for what’s right there is hope.
Thank you Johnathan and Doc for making this something that can create a better world.
