Exactly what I needed to hear!

I made the decision last year to stop having sex and wait until marriage. This book was extremely insightful on many aspects of why waiting is a great decision!

wish i could give this book to the 14 year old me.

very insightfull book, i wish i could give this book.to my 14 year old self. i recognise almost all the problems and mistakes i made in my life. alway thought i was just weak or there was something wrong with me, every break up i would.fall apart and rebuild myself as a better man, swearing this time.it will be different. but everytime it went exzaktely like in the book.now i finaly knowo what was going on. give this book to a young soul in the pain of a breakup and they will be greatefull.
the book is a bit god heavy but its not pushy or demanding. so you can easily substitute it with your own beleef system. i remeber a muslim friend of mine that waited. just like the book said. he also never spend time alone with her, to not go wrong. at that time i was caught up in the western lie of having as much sex as you can to prove you are a man. and i made fun of him. now he has the life i wish i had. married with a beutifull loving, dedicated and suporting wife, two kids. he is the leader of his family and he is the real man now. i am also maried, but its unstable and not clear if we will make it....we had sex on the first date.....draw your own concusions.

So much better than I expected

A lot of what was in this book was expected and was really excellent but there was a whole other level of what Rob accomplished and anyone can accomplish by transmuting their sexual energy into some thing better.

Revolutionary

This is the most incredible book out there. I can’t wait to share it with everyone I know. The concepts outlined here are on POINT! Completely. I love this read. Will be going back through it frequently! Love the 6 month challenge. I just loved every single OUNCE!!! Well written, narrated, and delivered. Thank you a thousand times for putting into words what my soul has been SEARCHING to share!

Great messaging, but trite

It is always a great story when anyone strives to ascend to better versions of themselves. The authors lifestyle before “waiting” and the journey of waiting seems quite cliché because he leans heavily on religion to support his decision. I would recommend this book to young men who are new in the journey of abstinence or celibacy as the strive to learn the high value of intimacy in relationships.

Has some great advice

I think the advice for women is particularly good. Things that most men know instinctively. We have been deceived by society that hook up culture will lead to happiness. I think hook up culture destroys men and women but women have a much lower threshold before they are ruined. Men also hit a point where it destroys their ability to properly connect with the opposite sex. I don't know if changing your ways can reset or undo the damage. I can see it helping but personally I don't think you can return to 100%. I don't believe in the born again virgin. To use the car analogy, once a car has been driven off the lot and been involved in an accident, no amount of body work will make it a new car. Not to say it's not worth fixing but it won't be the same as a new car. You may be able to hide the previous accident from the new owner. This to me is a deception and is not a great way to start anything. The author is right that the value does not rise when it has been borrowed and used and abused by many others. I think for women to wait until some serious commitment is a great strategy for girls who are a virgin or with a low body count. Girls with a higher body count or may or may not be damaged with holding from sex I find offensive to be honest. They had sex on the 1st or 2nd date with a guy they had strong attraction for and now they want to make a guy who they most likely have lower attraction for. This is particularly bad if they are trying to convince the guy that they are a brand new car on the lot.
