Swoon worthy, jaw dropping romance

Jodi is one of my favorite authors and each time she releases a book I know the caliber of story telling will be superbly written. However with Artful Lies & Wicked Truths she elevated her mastery with vivid descriptions of characters that came to life and were so real, set the stage for so many plot twists and revelations that kept my mind spinning trying to keep up and figure the end game and in so doing consistently dropped belly hurting, tear jerking humor and oh so steamy romance. The narrating was excellent as I felt every emotion and boy were there many! I laughed so hard, sniffled inconspicuously, fanned myself and shouted “oh fuck no” so many times. There was not a dull moment in this story. I would absolutely recommend it as one of the best audible of 2020.

My favorite JEM series!!!!!

This series, this finale was phenomenal. So many twists and turns that I couldn't put this audio down and finished it in one day! The storyline was so well thought out. Kudos to Jodi! I loved all the characters and the narration by Kristin Atherton was incredible. Her male voice was killer!!! It's a world where you want to live in and be a part of! Eleanor is a fierce heroine and Becker the ultimate alpha! I will be listening to this over and over as it is in my top five favorites of all time!

Kristen Atherton was fabulous

Narrator Kristen Atherton was fabulous with her different character voices. She narrated this book perfectly with her emotions with each character, she brought them alive in me “ears”! Bravo

Amazing

Phenomenal book by Jodi Ellen Malpas. Book 2 in the series does not disappoint.

Kristin Atherton’s performance is amazing and her ability to do male voices, particularly Becker’s, is really quite good. I really wish that Kristin Atherton had done the Epilogue. Not sure why Richard Trinder voiced Becker in the epilogue. It would have been so much better if KA had continued in Becker’s voice for the epilogue.

Beautiful, Suspenseful, Funny

Love these two books! The story will be with me a long time. Unequaled narration from Kristin Atherton; she is incredible. The plot and sub-plots are interesting and compelling. The art world is a different setting and a whole new world for listeners. I think the two books should be pitched to one of the big motion picture studios (this is way too good for the web-based small screen). They would obviously need to shorten and “sanitize” the sex scenes for an R rating, but so what? The chemistry of the two main characters would still shine though, along with the really crafty plot. A definite A++ recommendation!!

Loved it

I absolutely love this author. This is the 3rd series I have listened to and they are wonderful. She makes readers feel everything through her words.
Worth the credit and then some.

Good Read

I love all of Jodi's novels, especially the This Man series. This was a good book, but I felt it was lacking a bit. The narration was ok, I liked the female narrator's diverse characters, she was able to make each character unique. The male narrator however did not do it for me. His voice sounded too mature and sounded way older than the male lead. Thankfully the male narration was only for one chapter. Overall, I think this book is a good way to pass the time.
