De gustibus...
I have not finished listening to the book yet, although it definitely holds my attention. The reason I came to this page today is that I was thinking how much I enjoyed the narrator and wanted to see what other books read by her are available -- so I was surprised to see all the negative feedback regarding the narration. It just goes to show -- different strokes for different folks... While I like Field's narrator's voice best (it's simply pleasant to listen to), I'm amazed at her ability to give each character his or her own distinct voice, so you always know who is speaking -- quite a feat in my book! So don't be put off by the reviews, listen to the sample and decide for yourself if this is for you.

Loved It
This is the second book I have read from this author. The first one was "Sleeping Beauty" (which was amazing). This author seems to have a plot pattern he likes to follow, but I don't care! I loved this book. I have never listened or read a book that has plot twists that this author uses, so I am very happy with him. This book kept me on the edge of my seat.

Great Novel
I read the reviews and complaints about the reader using lame voices. That was not even a problem for me. The voices were such a minor distraction that once I got used to the reader's style, I got into the story completely. This is a really well thought out story and I really enjoyed it. My only criticism is that there were at least three voids in the story line. The voice just dropped out for several seconds. Even so, this didn't effect my understanding of what was going on. I'm going to be downloading more of Phillip Margolin!

Great twists & turns
Mysteries & thrillers are my favorite genre on audible and this was one of the best I've heard so far. Not THE best but definitely at the top of the list. Riveting, good narration (to what are other reviewers referring?) and well developed plot. Definitely recommend. Also "Sleeping Beauty" by this author is very good.

Yikes Is This Improbable!
I really like Amanda Jaffe, Phillip Margolin's star character here in Wild Justice. And yeah, Margolin is like a great carpenter, but in this case, not a designer of fine furniture. There's a difference, right? While he puts the story together with competent precision… Well if this story were a cabinet, it'd sure have a lot of gaps, holes, bulges, clashing colors, and improbable joints.
Still, I listened to the end because Anna Fields is a terrific actress (can't wait to hear her tell me more stories) and Margolin is a master carpenter and its entertaining to watch him saw, bang, paint, and join stuff. I'll get more of his books, but like a quarter mile secret tunnel snaking out beneath a suburban home… This one's too improbable to believe.
If I had it to do over again… Nope, I wouldn't.

The great Ms Anna for $5
Thanks Audible for the $5-7 sales! If you recognize great narrators names, this sale has some gems.
I have many of this author’s books as, Angela Dawe & Jonathan Davis narrates. Not to be missed. Excellent
If you like Karin Slaughter , this story is for you. There are some gruesome details but not enough to stop hearing one of the best narrators in the biz, may she Rest In Peace. See Susan Elizabeth Phillips series Ms Anna made so famous.

Okay.
The plot twists were predictable, so for me the question was, how will the author get to where it is obvious he's going. Margolin is a good story-spinner and creates interesting characters.

Good Story, Poor Narration
I liked the story; it kept me guessing. I really wish it had a different narrator, though. Or perhaps it was also the way it was edited. I don't care for her voice, but the worst part was the timing. Both distracted from the story. Too bad. . .
