When magic is up, electricity dies, cars stall, and skyscrapers tumble; when it's down, phones and guns work, and defensive spells can't protect your house from the creatures who stalk the streets. Equally dangerous are the competing factions of The Pack - a highly organized and military clan who governs Atlanta's were-bears, -wolves, and -hyenas - versus the Masters of the Dead, power and knowledge-hungry necromancers whose minds control hordes of blood-crazed vampires.

Publisher's Summary
From Ilona Andrews, New York Times best-selling author, the thrilling conclusion to her Hidden Legacy series, as Nevada and Rogan grapple with a power beyond even their imagination.
Nevada Baylor can't decide which is more frustrating - harnessing her truthseeker abilities or dealing with Connor "Mad" Rogan and their evolving relationship. Yes, the billionaire Prime is helping her navigate the complex magical world in which she's become a crucial player - and sometimes a pawn - but she also has to deal with his ex-fiancée, whose husband has disappeared and whose damsel-in-distress act is wearing very, very thin.
Rogan faces his own challenges, too, as Nevada's magical rank has made her a desirable match for other Primes. Controlling his immense powers is child's play next to controlling his conflicting emotions. And now he and Nevada are confronted by a new threat within her own family. Can they face this together? Or is their world about to go up in smoke?

Just as wonderful as Daniels world and Innkeeper.
Look, these guys know what they are doing and are the best at what they do. I love a good story. I sincerely hope that they either are contracted for more books or self publish. One should never throw away a good adventure. I have a feeling that Nevada and Rogen have more clever stories to tell and I am deeply saddened if I cannot tag along with them.

HOT DAMN! ITS HERE. ITS HOT. ITS SMOLDERING.
"HOT DAMN! ITS HERE. ITS HOT. ITS SMOLDERING. ITS ACTION FILLED. ITS MAGIC DRENCHED. ITS PAST FACING. ITS TIME FOR THE TRUTH. I got all I anticipated and then some. Wildfire brought just that wildfire. There was an intensity to this read that made it stand out and feel a bit different from the other two. This time around the past of both Nevada and Connor come front and center. One with a past unknown. The other with a past that could change the future. All comes to a thrilling ride with its ups, downs, twist and turns. Action, adventure and magic everywhere.
The Baylor’s have arrived and that show that clearly with not one, not two, not even three but four of their clan taking front and center to make the Baylor clan a house to be reckoned with. Nevada shows her stuff and even shows up a few. She can make a grown man cry a few tears. I just have a sneaky suspicion that grandma will not give up so easily. Though what they went through was not easy by any means.
Ilona Andrews has delivered a knock out series with a serious one-two punch. The Hidden Legacy series was fun, entertaining, action filled, adventure fueled, and magic enchanted.

5 stars just isn't enough!
I loved this book! I have actually already read this book twice since I was able to get my hands on a copy. I couldn't wait to get started the first time through the book and barely came up for air until I finished the story. I knew that I would need to slow down and read it a second time before being able to write a review. So I read this book for a second time less than three months after my first read through and I liked it just as much the second time. There really aren't many books that I would able to do that with. I had such a good experience reading this book.
This is the third book in the Hidden Legacy series which really does need to be read in order. The whole series is amazing so you won't want to miss the earlier books anyway. Nevada and Rogan have been through a lot together by the time this book starts and things have changed drastically for Nevada and her family. Nevada and her family can no longer stay hidden so they must decide how to safely move forward. Their agency has taken on a case for Rogan's ex, Rynda. Rynda's husband is missing and nobody seems to want to look for him.
As we have come to expect, Nevada and Rogan will work together through some pretty tense situations in this novel. The action gets pretty intense and is really quite exciting to read. This book is so much more than a romance story but the romance is really well done. Nevada and Rogan belong with each other. I love every time they are on the page with each other. Their chemistry is off the charts and their banter is a lot of fun. Add a few magical elements into the mix and you have a story you can't quit thinking about.
The secondary characters are so well done. I think that every character in this series has something to add to the story. Nevada's family are so much fun and their feelings for each other are really genuine. Rogan's people are loyal and a force on their own. Cornelius and Matilda have almost become an extended part of the Baylor family and I really like the perspective that Cornelius brings to the agency. There is even a pacifist Kodiak bear and a blue tiger that is literally out of this world.
I highly recommend this series to everyone. I love the world that the writing pair of Ilona Andrews has crafted in this series and am in awe at the characters that live in that world. I will keep my fingers crossed that there might eventually be a few more novels in this wonderful series.
I received an advanced reader edition of this book from Avon Books via Edelweiss.
Notes on the Audio
This was awesome as always. 5 stars are simply not enough. So this was my third time through the book in less than a year. You could say that I like this series. Just a little bit. I listened to the audio for this re-read and thought that Renee Raudman did an amazing job with the story. This book really has it all. I love everything about it and I NEED more books in this series.

There is nothing that I dislike about this world. You will have to read the other books but you will not regret it. The authors are riveting they pull you in and you want to be a part of the world they have created. The narrator is flawless and well the story....you just have to read it to understand. Ilona Andrews is simply epic. Don’t take my review for it... read the books.

Can’t wait for more.
One of my favorite authors, I devour everything that is written and this book is just as delicious as the Kate Daniels and Sweep series. I love the family in this book, they really are the backbone to all the fun going on. There is lots of actions, enough intrigue to keep you guessing and a nice romance. Can wait for more to come out. Ilona Andrews is an instant download for me. Love the narrator, she manages to make the characters come to life.

Maximum enjoyment
Please, please, PLEASE tell me there will be more Hidden Legacy books! I'm a total Mad Rogan fangirl and Nevada Baylor kicks some serious magical butt in this third book of the series. There's so much to gush over but how to do so without spoilers? Just go listen to it. Indulge in listening to the first two books first. Trust me, you'll be glad because these books are fantastic. I don't need to preach to the fan base, we all know the awesomeness that is this series. For those of you looking for something new and quirky in magic-based urban fantasy with strong women characters and an Alpha male who knows and appreciates the strengths of the woman he's fallen for, yeah, this one is for you! Renee Raudman does her usual amazing job of narration.
This book is on my perennieal re-listen list. I always go back to listen to all the books when the new installment comes out. This title finishes up my re-listen. On to the next installment, which closes out the original trilogy and sets up the world for the next group of books in the Hidden Legacy series. #StrongFemaleProtagonist #UrbanFantasy #AlphaMale #MagicAndMayhem #Romance #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

Fun, sex and adventure
If this is what you enjoy then this book is you you! Nevada carries a sassy attitude that makes me laugh out loud. Rogan and Nevada’s relationship is an ever evolving one throughout the trinity of books, standing firm to be her own person without drawing on the ‘I’m a totally independent woman and nobody is ever going to interfere with that’. Great book will listen again.

Wildfire is a winner
After a long wait the 2nd and 3rd book came out very quickly. both were worth the wait. A fantastic series which does not disappoint in any way. I do hope there is another book in the series as I feel there is so much more that could happen in the world of the Baylor's.

Not long enough - story a little rushed.
I have really enjoyed this trilogy and felt it has a nice balance of fantasy in a real world situation. The narration is great throughout the series.
However, in this book particularly I felt that there was'nt enough Rogan! The two main characters spent much of the story apart and their chemistry is one of the best things in this series.
I also hope that there will be more to come in this series - even though this was described as the conclusion - as there were so many interesting characters introduced in this book and certain characters just started to discover their potential. There is also still huge potential for the plot to continue. So please write more Ilona!
This series is brilliant and captivating and I will definitely be listening to it again. I just hope this isn't the last we hear of Nevada and Connor.

Complex and compelling
Read/listen to the other books in the series first for best understanding as there are layers of plot upon layers. But the authors have a deft way of making it all make total sense within the world they built, and the well developed characters interact in completely believable ways. It's pacy and exciting, and the gentle humour stops it all from getting too dark. Total entertainment. Although there is a satisfactory endung to fhis book, the door is left nopen for another episode and I can only join other fans in begging fir more! Renee Raudman's superb performance only enhances the experience with perfect timing and characterization. Buy the audio version, it's so good!

so addictive!
The audios of this entire series have been so addictive! Loving the narrator, her performance has been so enjoyable to listen to.
I'm yet to come across a book from Ilona Andrews that I haven't enjoyed reading or listening to, they create such fantastic characters and storylines.......right up the top of the fav list.

Ilona Andrews does it again
Ilona Andrews has managed to right another magic story where girls kick butt. It is a great read that has left me awaiting the relief of the next book.

Eh
I didn't like the narrator's staccato yet slow style. I enjoyed the story a lot more when I read it myself. I'm listening to Audible versions of all my favorites and was pleasantly surprised by the fact I actually liked some of the books even more when well narrated.
I just finished a Nalini Singh book narrated by Angela Daw and the comparison is not doing good things for Ms Raudman - sorry. Dialogue acting is good but everything else is painfully drawn out yet still managed to be choppy and disconnected in a way that gave me a headache if I listened for too long.

Amazing story
Te story line, as always, was epic!
The performance not so much, he voices were ok but the rest was almost unbearable to listen too. She put suspense into the wrong sections, held back on drama in others
