Discover the proven formula for winning grants through captivating proposals, straight from an expert’s playbook

Every now and then, nonprofits partner up with government agencies, foundations, and other such organizations to carry out projects—those with potential to change lives, improve scientific understanding, or for artistic works.

For you and your nonprofit, that means drafting a grant proposal, elaborating on your grand vision, and how you plan to make it a reality.

Sounds doable, right?

However, no matter how impressive your vision looks on paper, unless your proposal aligns with the goals of the organization you seek grants from, you’re bound to get rejected.

You might keep trying, slogging through proposal after proposal, but all it will do is lower your confidence, making it a struggle to sell your vision and win a grant.

But what if you could change that? The good news is, you too can learn this skill.

In fact, you’re only a few steps away from the secret to writing winning grants.

In Winning Grants, you will discover:

Well done

Sample language is provided for each section of the proposal, from letter of intent to the project description.I like that it's an easy read and make a lot of information easy to digest with interest. I found this book to have a lot of things that I never even had thought to include when writing for a grant. My husband and I are hoping to be able to use this book as an ongoing resource when writing grants from different potential sponsors. I believe it's a game changer for those in the world of raising funds, fundraising, and grant writing.

get funding now!!

In order to carry out projects that have the potential to save lives, advance scientific research, or create art, nonprofit organizations collaborate with government agencies, foundations, and other organizations. When you write a grant proposal, you should detail your grand vision as well as how you intend to make it a reality. If the aims of the organization for which you are seeking grants do not correspond with those of your proposal, then it will be rejected. Obtaining finance doesn't have to be a guessing game if you listen to this audio book to learn how. No longer is it considered confidential information.

I acquired this audiobook at a great time. I have been looking into the process of seeking a grant and had many questions about them. If you're writing grant proposals, you need this

I couldn't recommend this audiobook more. Other resources on this topic pale compared to this one. If you know nothing about how to make your proposal or application stand out, this is going to be your new best friend. They even give you templates and samples for a visual support aspect to compliment the audiobook. Thanks so much, I'll be recommending this to my other friends in my network.

Every NGO needs a copy of this book

If you have ever run or even worked in an NGO you are familiar with the frenzy when the deadline for applying for a grant is close. I wish I had this book three years ago when we had to scram at the last moment and then deal with the disappointment when we fail to get the grant. I found the sections on why grants get rejected very helpful.

Full of perspectives and ideas

If you work at NPO now, you will definitely be inspired.
I worked at NPO 10 years ago. I understand how hard it is to raise funds, and the writing process is tricky.
But this will make your mission and specific project even more straightforward. I found it to be a good book because it also introduces you to the actual organizations and companies you should consider applying to.

Very useful information

I don't work for nonprofits, but I have written grand proposals for scientific research. If you are in academia doing scientific research and looking to get funding, I think you will find this book helpful in some ways. When you spend time in a lab all day, often time we forget that the person on the other side who is reading your grant proposal is another human. This book will help you craft a winning proposal by helping you shape the story you are trying to tell in your grant--think about your unique points, the goals you are trying to achieve, and how you can engage and entice the funder. I find this book quite informative and will happily share it with my friends who are in nonprofits..
