Not a Favorite

I listened to this because it was free and because of the connection to Zig Ziglar whom I really like.

What I liked: The narration was done well.

What I didn’t like: Scripture was taken out of context two or three times. I don’t like when people take a Scripture and bend it into something different they want to be true. I would rather no Scripture at all.

I also don’t buy into the, “you have to love yourself.” We already do love ourselves. One of the Scriptures taken out of context was “love your neighbor as yourself.” Then she explains God wants us to love ourselves first so we can love others. This is not accurate. He doesn’t command us to love ourselves. He commands us to love Him and love (care for) our neighbors the same way we love and care for ourselves.

Perhaps some people new to self improvement will like this. She comes across as a pleasant person. This was a light introduction for her business.

Motivational Reinforcement

Good motivational book. Sometime I need to be re reminded how to see and interpret life.
Struggled with the depressing death stories in the end, so book ended sad.

Couldn't make it aThrough

I struggled to finish this one... even at 1.3 speed. The narrator was a bit too bubbly and the story and narrator seemed a bit out of touch and over the top. There wad no ah ha moments or anything that really stood out to me.

Good information!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. Good information, and easy to relate to.
My only complaint would be that there were too many "Why..." questions, with no answers. I understand that they were rhetorical questions, but it was overwhelming at times. I was able to get past this by rephrasing the questions in my head, to say "You should not...", instead of "Why would you...".
Good book!

Good for the person starting a career

Remember reading zig Ziegler in high school and this is what drew me to the story. A bit disappointed.

Good read

I found this information helpful when I mentor others
Although a lot of the information doesn't nor haven't applied to me...it will be used to help others. Also. I will recommend this to others
