Publisher's Summary

The Preacher is killing again....

The serial killer who slaughtered Winter’s parents has come out of retirement, leaving bloody victims in his wake. Special Agent Winter Black has spent her entire life preparing for this moment, and she intends to end the man who took everything from her and solve the disappearance of her little brother — no matter the cost.

Though she’s taken off the case, it doesn’t take Winter long to discover that The Preacher isn’t after just another victim.

He’s after her.

In his mind, he’s killing Winter over and over. And with each new murder, he’s leaving a message, one that is holy in the most chilling way.

When the madman kidnaps a fellow agent, Winter is desperate to find him before he kills another person she cares about.

Book three of Mary Stone’s edgy Winter Black series, Winter’s Redemption is a breath-stealing journey into the mind of a psychopath, and the woman he taught to hate.

Winter

The story line was great but I personally don't care for the foul language. Any story can be told without the use of foul language.

Juvenile writing

There were so many time line errors I wonder if this book was ever read by an editor. E.g., the victim was kidnapped from the bar one hour before the agents arrived and yet had already reached the church with the kidnapper (2 hours away) when the agents learned about disappearance.

Done with this series.

I was hoping for this series to improve, but again I almost fell asleep. I understand wanting to keep your partner safe from a killer, but Noah and Parrish were obsessed. So far it is repetitive, boring and I'm done.

Good Book

I found it a bit redundant, going over and over the same facts as her last 2 books. Hopefully now that the preachers dead maybe we can get a good new story out of her.

Poor narrator

The narrator voice is just too immature and weak sounding for an FBI agent. Not a good fit!!!

Winter Black stories always full of twists

I have been enjoying the Winter Black series by Mary stone. This book WINTERS REDEMPTION took some twists and turns that I did not anticipate. It has been refreshing to read a series that has not become predictable.

Winter Black

I like the story & narration but Winter is starting to annoy me. The problem I have is she is becoming ungrateful, mean & almost conceited. I feel bad that her life was so awful but does that give her a right to treat people so badly.
