All Timberlyn wants is to get out of her small town, where she's branded a freak just because she happens to wear all black and draw gruesome monsters in her notebooks. When a letter arrives saying she's been accepted to the mysterious Ravenwood Academy for the exceptionally Gifted, she jumps at the chance. There's only one problem with Ravenwood: it's run by Alarick Wolf and his brothers, three surly, thuggish, insanely gorgeous guys. Story
Yesterday I was a teenager waiting tables in Manhattan, and today, monsters exist and I can see them. Overnight I’m thrown into the realm of the Watchers, a society of earthbound angels split into two factions: the Shades, whose powerful dark magic is given to them by the fallen angels, and the Lumens, whose abilities are bestowed on them by the archangels of Avalon. They’re on opposite sides of a brutal war, and I only have a few days to pick which side I want to join. I’m ready to choose when the Shades force my hand by cursing someone I love.

After I challenged the Blood Council's four shifter heirs at a college party, the last thing I expected was to receive a full scholarship and an admittance letter from the exclusive Wolf Moon Academy. Despite never desiring to be an alpha, this was an opportunity of a lifetime...or so I thought. I soon learned that there was more behind my admission to the Academy than my education. I was there to be a lesson to the heirs - in particular, the sexiest and strongest one, Liam Hale.

Welcome to Darkblood - oops, I mean Darkhen Academy. There are three rules to survive the elite supernatural school: Do not talk or even look at The Seven, the uber-powerful supes that rule the academy. Never go into the Fae forest on a full moon...or else. And most definitely do not fall for one of the extremely hot and unattainable instructors. Too bad I’ve never really been a rule follower...If word gets out that humans are no longer safe from the supes, our worlds will once again be closed off. It’s up to us to stop that from happening.

Fate has a wicked sense of humor. When I was 16, I met the love of my life in magic school. He'd appear exactly once a year at the annual masquerade ball, then vanish... Fast forward to the present: To the night I’m attacked and my hidden wolf emerges. As it turns out, I’m a freakin’ hairy, tail-wagging, shape-shifting werewolf so instead of returning to the human world after graduating, I’m dragged to Moon Valley to control my inner beast. Only problem is, I’m not just a wolf. And someone wants me dead because of it. When I meet the alpha heir, sparks fly.

Publisher's Summary
Nothing in life is free - even life itself.
After a split-second decision that gave her a second chance at life, Timberlyn struggles to control her new instincts as her life spins out of control. Her newly awakened hunger takes over, and she has to decide if she made the right choice, after all.
She may have saved her life, but every day is a struggle not to lose herself. Cut off from her family and the wolves, she takes solace in her friendship with Svana and Viktor, despite their hatred for the Wolf boys. But will Alarick despise her when he finds out the truth?
When she returns for her third year at Ravenwood Academy, everything is different. Her friends. Her status. Her link with the wolves. Now bound to Jonathan Ravenwood, she must fight harder than ever to carve out her own path and fight for what’s right.
This book concludes the Ravenwood Academy trilogy, a YA urban fantasy adventure filled with slow-burn romance, friendship, and mystery.

Overall Good Pranormal YA Academy Series
I enjoyed the world the series is set in and the characters. There is plenty of action and suspense through out. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. I feel that the ending wrapped up too quickly and left some questions unanswered. but overall this is a good paranormal YA Academy series.

A wild ride, with some answers & more questions
This is the third and final novel in the Ravenwood Academy trilogy of young adult paranormal mystery by Lena Mae Hill. The series should be read in order. It’s fun and exciting, so I do recommend it to fans of this genre.
Our main character, Timberlyn, experiences some dramatic changes in this story and has a lot of growing up to do. We also get a chance to learn more about her friends and family.
The story was entertaining and easily held my interest. There’s a bit of a love triangle here, and also a suggestion of fated mates. The plot is interesting, with interspecies tensions and conflicting goals straining relationships, and plenty of surprises revealed. My main disappointment is that while this book answers some of the questions posed throughout this trilogy, it leaves many questions still unanswered. I wanted more resolution for these characters.
There are a couple of steamy scenes, though nothing too graphic. Be prepared for violence and know that some characters die heartbreaking deaths. This is not a “happily ever after” kind of story.
I really enjoyed the narration by Vanessa Moyen. Her performance was well paced and easy to understand, and I love her character voices. I think this is a great choice for listening.

Not quite finished
for me it didn't really feel like it was finished. We get some answers and it's full of action and mystery and we do get some resolutions but I don't really feel like things were resolved completely and honestly I wasn't thrilled with some of the results here. So a bit of a let down for me. I will say I did enjoy listening to it much more than I did reading it and The narration made it more entertaining for me.

Meh..
Since this was the final book in the series I’ll give 2 different ratings, one for this book and one for the series as a whole (I gave reviews for each individual book that proceeds this book already under their perspective titles). But first, let me again commend the narration of this book/series. This narrator is so easy to listen to and does a good job reading stories that I would define listen to many more books read by her.
As to this book, I would give it 2.5 stars rounded up to 3, but that’s being a tad generous. Unfortunately, this book had so much potential but the author lost me when the heroin was a fae, witch, werewolf, vampire, etc. I mean I started to get confused with the number of magical beings she was (eye roll). I was sadly disappointed with how the series ended, but the overall series was decent.
Which leads me to the series as a whole, I would rank this series 3.5 stars with no rounding up or down :). It was good series that kept my interest and made me want to finish it, but that final book is so crucial in a series that I find, in my experience and opinion, that it makes or breaks a series. I need to feel at piece and content with the ending of any series, or even book, I read that anything less leaves me unsatisfied and frustrated. Again, this feeling for me had to do with all the number of magical beings the Heroin was. I also had many unanswered questions about her family (both biological and adoptive). Anyways, I would definitely try another series by this author and definitely listen to another narration by Vanessa Moyen.

This one will hit you in all the feels
This book started off predictably enough (you kinda knew where it was going with the cliff hanger from book 2) but then went off in some crazy directions and managed to pull in clues dropped through out the previous 2 books to finally answer questions about stuff that didn't quite add up in ways no one imagined.
This is the end of Timberlyn's coming of age arc, of her finding herself and becoming who she was meant to be. It's a rough journey that comes with a fair amount of heartache, but also tender moments and happiness. Lots of questions answered about how the various factions at play align and the history behind them, but answered in a way that only spawns more questions and opens parts of this world you never dreamed existed. Lots of potential for spin-offs in this universe!
Book 3 in a trilogy, read them in order to be slowly drawn into the paranormal world the way Timberlyn was - slowly delving deeper into things she didn't fully understand until she was forever changed. This one is a page-turner full of romance and suspense. If you have an opportunity to listen to the audio version narrated by Vanessa Moyen I highly recommend it. She does a fabulous job with the book. My only tiny quibble is her deeper voices sometimes get quite low and difficult to hear. This is an honest and voluntary review of an ARC

Wonderful
I found it amazing how the story started and it ended. Lena Mae Hill did a great job keeping my attention, which is hard to do. Of course the wonderful Vanessa Moyen was great at keeping the characters individual and exciting. Both author and narrator were amazing.
Would I listen to this book again? yes and already have
Would I recommend this book to others? yes, if it fits with what is being asked for.

noooo not him!!!!😳😢😭😭😭😭😭😭
the book started off so good. timberlyn becoming a vampire and shes still a werewolf , WTF then she loses Alarick and the pack, shocker right. but finds herself with the vamps now. then a game change she ends up back with her pack, and goes on a adventure to find her real family on the way some of the wolfs find there mates which is super exciting for them. she meets her mother and 12 sisters, then I takes a tune then ending so so sad she loses people that are close to her heart ❤, that its so heartbreaker 💔 😢, there's a part where one gives his life for her to be happy, now that was the most heartbreaking moment for me. that I still can't stop crying. I didn't want this person to go, I wish this person didn't leave. all in all this series was really good I recommend you read or listen to it. you will enjoy these books 📚 😊

Great Read
Year Three: Wolf Song (Ravenwood Academy, #3) was another great read by Lena Mae Hill. Timberlyn is struggling to control her new instincts after being given a second chance at life. She has new hungers that are taking over. She finds herself cut off from her family as well as the wolves. She finds herself friends with the people who hate the wolves. It makes Alarick despise her for who she is around now. She returns to Ravenwood Academy for her third year and everything seems to be different. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by Lena Mae Hill.

It is more than worth the listen
Ravenwood Academy absorbs you in, into a world of supernaturals so close yet so far away.
The series and book 3 have captivating right though. Though in book 3 with fight with the vamps and wolves & shifters. It brings a bit of sorrow and pain as some lose their lives.
But all in all, it is a great book and worth listening to for second round.
Well done Lena for an amazing book

Kept me on the edge of my seat!
So freaking good! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I can usually tell where a story is going, but this kept me guessing... never going quite where I expected. I hope there are many more books to come! Timberland's journey is clearly not over!

Wolf song
This is book 3 in this series. The last book finished on a cliff hanger and this book jumps forward a little, not as much as the last book did. Timberlyn finds out more about herself and what new things that are happening to her. The story is good and a lot is happening, I don't want to spoil it so won't go into to much detail and the story could have gone into different direction. Her time at Ravenwood seems to come to an end but I feel Timberlyn story could still continue into develop in other books if the author wished to write more. I enjoyed listening to this book, even if I feel there could be more to the story still untold I have enjoyed the series.
