Publisher's Summary

Prison is no one's idea of a good time, and it's even worse for Dell. Confinement has her inner wolf snarling as she paces their cell, and there's no end in sight. Just as she reaches her breaking point, the pack liaison shows up with an offer she can't refuse. Dell's freedom in exchange for going to Faerie and recapturing the fae prince responsible for her current digs.

But this fool's errand won't be a solo mission. Isaac Cahill has lost Dell twice, and he'll be damned if she slips through his fingers again. This time, he's not letting her out of his sight. Even if it means earning more than a few love bites from his pissed off she-wolf.

What they discover on their perilous quest is that war is closer than anyone imagined. As trusted allies fall and dangerous new threats emerge, Dell discovers one defining truth. Isaac is hers, and she'll fight to the death for him. And, at the rate this war is coming, she might not have long to wait.

Too much love

I really liked the other books in this series, but suddenly it was all like. “I love you that much,” “no... I love YOU that much.” Love love love. Sappy, boring feelings crap that was repeated over and over again. Now I’m hesitant to read the next book. Yuck.

Real plot revealed

With multiple books that acted like possible standalones, this one delivers on the last book’s overarching plot (sorry, I’ve learned to be wary) that there is a war coming on earth, between the leaders of the Fey realm and those who live on earth. Though the road has been bumpy, all the previous books and their nemeses have lead to this, and Isaac and Del sent as emissaries to the Fey hiding on earth to join the fight, not to mention to keep the Fey heir safe in their RV. Everyone loves a road trip! Worth getting it if some of the books are free leading up to this

Girl meets boy AFTER career!

A woman with her life in order finds love and chooses a love that changes her life for the better! This shows that love can be an added benefit and enhance one's life while changing it! Not just, he loves me, I'll give up my life I've carved out to be his wife! They create a world where women are strong and lead members in a male world! I loved it and each book so far, going into book 6 soon! Each one shows that being in love isn't an ending to every thing, but only a beginning!

Wolf at the Door Bk 5

Dell is not relishing the likely prison sentence awaiting her and her wolf, so the option of going to Faerie to bring the prince back sounds like better options than jail - no good deed goes unpunished and all that .....but Faerie is far more dangerous than she could ever consider - while Dell and Isaac go in search of the prince they find they are truly mated.

I enjoyed this story and the way it was written, the action / adventure - you could visualize the test and challenges the pair met alone and together to survive.

Keeping me interested

Dell and Isaac are happy and going strong fighting their way to keep the prince safe from being leveraged and find half bloods to recruit to fight the upcoming war against fairy. The narrator does great, but the story is just still lacking something. Maybe it should have been cut off into one big book about Dell instead of strung along with filler to make it into so many. But I still keep reading so they aren't bad, just it's like you know it could be better if that makes sense...
