Backed by investors such as Larry Ellison and Tim Draper, Theranos sold shares in a fund-raising round that valued the company at more than $9 billion, putting Holmes’ worth at an estimated $4.7 billion. There was just one problem: The technology didn’t work.

Terrible listen
This is probably the first genuine review as there is no way the previous reviews posted about this audio book are from individuals who've listened to it. I will be requesting a refund as the reviews have been utterly misleading.
The 'performance' is by someone (or someTHING) who sounded like they were either reading from a version which was not proofread OR it was some clever book writing software that writes for you because there are strange inconsistencies in the language used and often times words would appear in sentences that made NO SENSE at all.
The section about the so called pandemic sounded out of place and like a pointless afterthought to be 'on trend'. It's outright biased & makes a bold presumption that everyone is terrified about the current situation instead of offering impartial guidance.
I tried to complete the entire audiobook and got as far as chapter 11 before I had to switch it off. Even that was too much of a chance. The guidance is generic and bland and the practical solutions given are in a list format instead of being explained in natural speaking tone.
