LOVE but need sample menus/recipes in PDF

I'm halfway through this and I'm learning so much. From past "clean" eating I know how much better it makes me feel physically not to mention having my clothes fit again but now I'm really starting to understand WHY. Hormones are everything and they are going crazy in my perimenopause body. The book is just the push in the right direction this 51 year old woman needed to get back to taking care of myself and taking control of my health. I'm eager to start the 28 day plan but I wish the food guide and menu plan were also included in the PDF.
The narrator is "okay." My family refuses to let me listen to it when they're in the car with me because she sounds like a "bossy, entitled woman" and I can't say I disagree and I might add the word "pedantic" to her delivery but I'm so interested in the content I'm able to overlook her know it all tone. In any case, if this subject is important to you, you should be able to get past the narrator ; )

Amazing!

Thank you so much for sharing this book! I am also a post menopausal physician and have been struggling with fatigue, mood swings, weight and irritability. I am only 7 days in and can tell a huge difference! I have my energy back, lost 4 pounds and feel great! I can’t wait to continue and see what else is in store for me. I’ve even got my husband and mom trying it out.!

More than a book about keto

I’ve been on “keto” for awhile and was gaining weight. It made me so angry that I fell off the wagon and started gorging on crap. After reading this book, I completely understand what I did wrong and modified everything, and I can already see results! Best of all, it’s been only a few days and I feel great. It’s crazy how Dr. Gottfried is right - keto resources were mostly written by men for men!

My favorite health influencers have been Mark Hyman and Dhru Puhorit, and Sara Gottfried is now up there too.

LIFE CHANGING!!!

I'm 37 and for over a year I've been putting in the work in the gym and counting macros/calories! I made a few changes from this book and THE SCALE IS CHANGING!!!!

Just another marketing book for Keto diet

I was expecting at least few changes of the standard Keto diet to make it work for women. But no, this is just about a Keto diet. The author changes it to her Gotfried Protocol to make it hers. The change she mentioned from standard Keto is using net carb as one of the measurements as opposed to total carb. This is just fluff. There’s a current disagreement among people on Keto whether total or net carb should be counted. So her ‘modification’ doesn’t make this HER protocol. It’s a bit shameful that doctors like this are just out trying to make money writing books. It would have been much better if she calls her book “Keto for Women”, giving credit where credit is due.

She started out saying the low carb macro on Keto did not work for women. But then she contradicted herself by recommending the same amount for women to start with- 25g to 50g. Furthermore, she did not address about the sleep interruption when one is on such low carb diet/Keto. This had happened to me when I lowered my carb to 45g, and I heard other women had experienced it as well. She stated how important sleep would be being in this protocol though. So how does a woman find solution to getting good sleep while on this diet???

The only thing I found helpful is the hormones she mentioned at the beginning, and how to increase some of them.

I am extremely disappointed in this book and would not trust this author/doctor to buy another of her book.
