LOVE but need sample menus/recipes in PDF

I'm halfway through this and I'm learning so much. From past "clean" eating I know how much better it makes me feel physically not to mention having my clothes fit again but now I'm really starting to understand WHY. Hormones are everything and they are going crazy in my perimenopause body. The book is just the push in the right direction this 51 year old woman needed to get back to taking care of myself and taking control of my health. I'm eager to start the 28 day plan but I wish the food guide and menu plan were also included in the PDF.
The narrator is "okay." My family refuses to let me listen to it when they're in the car with me because she sounds like a "bossy, entitled woman" and I can't say I disagree and I might add the word "pedantic" to her delivery but I'm so interested in the content I'm able to overlook her know it all tone. In any case, if this subject is important to you, you should be able to get past the narrator ; )

Another diet setting women up to fail

It saddens me that someone who promoted themselves as an advocate for women would be writing a book with such horrible nutrition advice.

This isn’t “keto for women” it’s a 1300 calorie diet for four weeks with a ton of restrictive behaviors and setting clients up to stay stuck in the dieting cycle.

I purchased this audible as a nutrition coach specializing in working with women on the premise I would be learning from a woman doctor about female health and hormones.

I am angry that this book is out there - it’s misleading and is only setting women up to struggle even more.

Amazing!

Thank you so much for sharing this book! I am also a post menopausal physician and have been struggling with fatigue, mood swings, weight and irritability. I am only 7 days in and can tell a huge difference! I have my energy back, lost 4 pounds and feel great! I can’t wait to continue and see what else is in store for me. I’ve even got my husband and mom trying it out.!

Robot

Disappointing that there’s a bot reading this.
Good information overall but hard to listen to.

Repeated too much

If I got a dollar for each timer she said "Gottfried protocol" I could buy a car. Was so sick of hearing it just a waste of space. Whole book could of been done in a few minutes if she didn't repeat things over and over it is not worth the time.

More than a book about keto

I’ve been on “keto” for awhile and was gaining weight. It made me so angry that I fell off the wagon and started gorging on crap. After reading this book, I completely understand what I did wrong and modified everything, and I can already see results! Best of all, it’s been only a few days and I feel great. It’s crazy how Dr. Gottfried is right - keto resources were mostly written by men for men!

My favorite health influencers have been Mark Hyman and Dhru Puhorit, and Sara Gottfried is now up there too.

Self promotion

The content of this book could have been condensed to 1/3 its length if the redundancy was removed. The constant repetition of "Gotfried protocol" was annoying to the point where I struggled to concentrate. The concepts are basic and not proprietary to the author. The tone of the narrator was condescending to say the least. Overall not impressed.

Extremely repetitive and self promoting

She’s smart but she treats her listeners as stupid her message could have been one chapter without all the self promotion boring….
