Myths and lore from the past

This collection of tales from the Scots correlates with those from Wales and Ireland and seem less doom and gloom than those of the mainland. Magic, adventure, giants, and goddesses populate this interest collection.
Chekijian gave a fine audio performance once again.

Shocking accent.

I don't know where the narrator is from but his accent is painfully contrived. The worst crime is his frequently repeated mispronunciation of Gaelic which, when referring to Scottish people/language should be pronounced Gallic not gail-ik. The stories are amazing but I can't listen to this numpty reading them.

Christopher Lambert after a stroke!

There can only be NONE! Anyone from Scotland that can listen to this without smashing their phone should get a prize, like a welcomed merciful death. F you Jack.

Great little stories!

I wasn't immediately taken with the narrator, but I grew to like it. The narrator does a very wonderful job and I would highly recommend this audiobook.

The stories are some my my all-time favourties.

Absolutely beautiful

I absolutely love this one.
The person reading it is absolutely perfect for the style of stories and incredibly relaxing to listen to.
The stories themselves are brilliant but for me you can never go wrong with this style of story.

Not what I expected

Sadly, nothing like I was thinking. The reader's voice was distracting, the content less of an examination of the myths and tales than simply a telling...
... in a very annoying voice.
