The Mystery of the Wonderland Virus.

Wonderland is not your ordinary book it is intense, mysterious, intriguing and a bit horrifying. The Wonderland virus was released to an unsuspecting group of people by Red Queen Inc for nefarious reasons killing everyone except for Alice. Red Queen Inc unstable CEO Reed Redding wants to know why she was the only survivor by any means necessary.
I was hooked from page one because of the storyline as well as the characters reminding me of their Alice in Wonderland counterparts. Michelle Shure did a phenomenal job narrating as he voice was soothing where it should be yet stern where it should be which brought the story to life.
I received this book for free at my request but it has no bearing on my honest unbiased review.

Curiouser and Curiouser

I love a good Wonderland tale, and this has just enough connections to the original story to make me happy. It was a completely twisted version that left me wondering how the storyline would be woven. When the audio ended, I actually sighed because I wasn’t ready to leave this world yet. Guess that means I need book 2.😀

Wonderful story

Wow, what a truly unique take on an old story. Its very well written and kept me engaged from the very beginning. I started the story on a road trip I was taking and extended the drive so I could finish the story. Strong narration keeps you engaged throughout the entire story. Well done!

New age spin

New age spin on an old tale. Good narration but the storyline is hard to follow in spots. Overall a nice listen.

Great story and narration

I expected a slight twist on the old Alice story from my youth and was pleasantly surprised that it was its own. The characters had depth and the narrator did a great job helping distinguish one from another. The author superbly maneuvers between the world of her story and what we believe is out reality.

Wonderland

okay this book was very interesting and a bit confusing. lol but I have to say it was still a really good book, confusing but good 😉 , lots of plot twist and so much more. hard to say who is good and bad. you just have to read it. the narrator did a really good job too. can't wait for the next book to come out curious about what is going to come next. 🤔

A boring confusing mess...did I mention boring?

Maybe this book requires the listener to have either taken psychedelic drugs in the past or when actually listening to the book. I was beyond bored and lost listening to it. Alice doesn't feature all that much in it and is actually so one-dimensional and uninteresting, I can see how. There are a lot of reviews for this book on here talking about how they were confused and lost the plot, yet they gave the book four or five stars regardless because of the subject matter and because the book was different. I'm fine with different and the subject matter - it's just a boring book. I cared nothing of the inconsistent characters, the ho-hum plot and the endless inner-monologue that never went anywhere to advance the story. Are they going after Alice now? Nope, they're high on something. Someone's being chastised? That happens every ten minutes of this book. Only get this book when it's on sale - which I did. I still paid too much. The narration is okay. but it's not easy telling the characters apart from the voices.

A unique take on Alice in Wonderland

Well read, with twists and turns you might not expect coming, I enjoyed listening to this different take on a classic and will be interested to see where it goes next.

Always trust this narrator

This is way outside my normal listening range, but I just know I'm in safe hands with this narrator. A wonderfully baroque gothic fantasy with some charming whimsy added in. nice one!
