I really enjoyed this course, which in my opinion, covers all the main practical points along the road of developing skills in mindfulness, present moment awareness, relaxation, and beyond.

This may be very good for those recovering from traumatic life situations and it is also very good for meditation techniques for everyday life, a worthy source for guided meditations.

Quite helpful to understand.

I found this book quite helpful to understand, cope with and deal with the trauma I had from my sexual assault. The narrator's voice is comforting and puts you at ease. I highly recommend this book!

Not as helpful as hoped

After reading reviews of the referenced book, I bought this to avoid the lengthy trauma stories noted. This was a good summary technically but lacked enough depth to be helpful if looking for how to heal / process trauma. Probably better to get this in writing rather than audio or get The Body Keeps The Score and skip the stories as needed.

Recommended!

I remember listening about a bubble barge in the Thames river to help create oxygen for life, as with that, giving people anti-depressants is not really beneficial long term.

All sorts of ailments can clear up.

It’s important and fairly simple for anyone to understand how trauma is stuck energy that needs to be dissipated, once this has been achieved all sorts of ailments can clear up.
