Publisher's Summary

Narcissistic abuse affects us mentally, emotionally, physically, and psychologically. The gravity of the repercussions can only be fully understood by those who have been through this type of ongoing trauma. Survivors often experience low self-esteem, a feeling of powerlessness, fear, and self-doubt. They feel shattered, confused, depressed, anxious, and overwhelmed with emotions. Symptoms of complex PTSD are common, as well as many types of chronic illness. These relationships can bring us to the depths of despair, where we wonder if it is even possible to heal.

Healing after narcissistic abuse is possible, and this book will show you how.

Debbie Mirza shares her own personal story of healing after experiencing several narcissists throughout her life, as well as simple yet powerful techniques that she has learned through her own experience, as well as years of interacting with thousands of survivors in her support group and coaching practice.

You will learn tools and practices that will empower you, bring you clarity, and enable you to see your true worth. The way you were treated had nothing to do with you, and this healing path will become your hero’s journey.

Best book I’ve ever read on this subject! SO helpful!!

I had ordered the paperback version of this book because the author’s first book about narcissism was outstanding. This book contains more of her story of abuse and path back to wholeness. It’s also filled with exercises and information to help you start your own healing journey. Reading this book was like curling up on the couch with your best friend and sitting with a master therapist all at once. I was excited to see that Debbie had also recorded an audible version in her own voice. I just listened to the audible version of this book. It only increased my appreciation of the wisdom in this book! It washed over me in a whole new way listening to the author's soothing voice read it to me. Her compassion (since she's walked this road) and her confidence (since she's come so far in her recovery) made the information in this book come alive. I felt like I understood better after listening to her. More than ever I believed a hero's journey was possible. I highly recommend listening to the author in her own words and in her own voice. Even if you've read this fantastic book.

I couldn’t stop crying

I just read the Covert Passive Aggressive Narcissist a couple months ago and since then I couldn’t stop researching and getting all the information I could. Realizing I was married to a CPAN has been an emotional rollercoaster the last couple months - anger, sadness, emptiness, relief and everything in between. This book came out at the perfect time for me as I struggle navigating these overwhelming emotions, struggle to make sense of nonsense. It was everything I needed to hear. And I cried through the whole thing. It’s as if Debbie is in my inner thoughts knowing EXACTLY what I am feeling and EXACTLY what I needed to hear. I am printing off the PDF and doing the exercises the second time I read the book hoping to get the information I missed while weeping so intensely. Please read this if you are in or think you are in a relationship with a narcissist. Hard to see the light when you have been so emotionally destroyed but Debbie gives you hope here, a hope we all need. Thank you again for putting your heart and soul into another amazing book. Bless you

Best Audiobook about Narcissistic Abuse!

I highly recommend this book for anyone who has been in a relationship with a narcissist, or really any toxic or abusive relationship. Debbie Mirza’s book on covert narcissism and her YouTube channel have been a life saver for me over the past few years. I was so excited when I saw the sequel was out! I couldn’t wait to read it, and it did not disappoint. This is the best book I have read on this subject, and I have read a lot of books on narcissism and about healing after being in a relationship with someone with narcissistic personality disorder.

In addition to reading the paperback, I have been so soothed by listening to Debbie's beautiful voice. The compassion and wisdom she embodies flows through her words, and this heals and calms the soul just as much as her powerful messages do.

Thank you Debbie for bringing this beautiful work into our world!!!

So much healing and clarity! Highly recommend!

In my role as a psychotherapist, I have walked alongside many people healing from trauma and confusion around a relationship with a narcissist. After running across this amazing book, I have made reading it my first recommendation for my clients who are working to find themselves again after leaving difficult relationships. The author guides us in exactly what she says - a gentle, restorative path to healing. The author's depth of knowledge, the vulnerability she shows in sharing her own story, and the practical tools for healing she offers are some of the many reasons I give this book five stars.
I had previously purchased the print version of this book but wanted to check out this audio version as many of my clients have more time to listen than to sit and read. The author reads the book herself, and her gentle voice conveys so much compassion. The publisher has also provided a PDF of the exercises from the book as part of the audio purchase. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Incredible

Makes you feel like you’re not alone. For anyone who has been through this, you know how confusing and non linear the healing process can be. Rarely does someone describe theirs. I felt so seen. It’s so hard to describe to people who haven’t been through it or haven’t done the healing. She is also incredibly empathetic and gracious. Many books about narcissistic abuse and healing are written from a very angry and wounded perspective which I understand. But this was a welcome and loving departure from that. I also felt like I finally could make sense of the narcissists in my life and hate them a little less. And no that doesn’t mean I’ll be taking more abuse. It’s just helping in my healing process. Thank you again Debbie, I love your work! I liked this even more than your first book which was also wonderful.

Wow!

Thank you Debbie for such a beautifully written and narrated book. I just finished listening to it on Audible. Everything you described in the book is what I have experienced, after being raised by two emotionally immature parents whom I believe have strong traits of NPD, especially my mother. As a result, I have suffered low self-esteem, been easily bullied, and have attracted narcissistic partners into my life, all the while thinking there was something wrong with me. Someone once told me what was “wrong” with me was that I was “too nice,” always people pleasing and allowing others to control my feelings. This is exactly what you described. What I liked most about your book is that you offer great suggestions about how to heal. I have already started using them and noticed a difference right away. I cannot thank you enough for sharing your experiences and giving me and others like me the hope and guidance we have desperately needed.

Read this to help you heal.

I’ve read (listened to) all of Debbie’s books. She is always so very genuine in communicating such helpful information in a thoughtful way. In this book, her words, stories, and exercises are pure gold for anyone trying to heal from the damage inflicted by a (covert) narcissistic relationship.

A must listen for anyone healing from an abusive relationship

After being in an abusive narcissistic relationship for many years I found it difficult to muster the attention needed to sit and read.
When I found and listened to Debbie’s book “The Covert Passive Aggressive Narcissist” my eyes were fully opened and I had the much needed validation regarding what I had endured.
This book “Worthy Of Love” is the perfect follow up for those who are seeking real and life long healing.
And what makes it so special is hearing Debbie read it. Her soothing and gentle voice makes it feel as though a trusted friend is wrapping me in their arms and telling me “it’s going to be ok”.
Debbie is truly an angel sent to deliver comfort and healing.

a MUST buy!

You will NOT regret purchasing and listening to anything Debbie Mirza writes. This is the second book I've purchased that she's written, and it was just as wonderful as the first. It has given me sooooo many valuable tips for healing myself and moving on after being in a narcissistic relationship. It has provided me with insight as to how and why I got myself into the relationship, what happened during it, and stages I'll go through after breaking out of it. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this book is. She gives advice on how to deal with toxic people in your life and how to recognize that they might be. Buy this and listen to it as soon as you can. You won't regret it!

A lifeline to safety, healing & Inner Peace

Debbie you are amazing, you are the most beautiful!! I am still in my healing journey and I wouldn’t be where I am today without having listened to all of your books. I can’t wait for more :)
So many people around me don’t understand my circumstances and don’t respond or change the subject whenever I talk about it.
This book has brought me pure joy and so much relief as I related to every chapter and every word.
You are amazing for doing all the work, not only to heal yourself but to go above and beyond to help heal so many others too including myself.
Worthy of love is a treasure, I am truly grateful. Thank you so much!! Xx
