Spicy with lovable characters

These books were very enjoyable with just enough plot between the spice to make it interesting. The world building is kinda light and the accents of the narrators are a bit grating but it’s tolerable if you just want a fun fantasy romance. It’s definitely worth a credit.

A great set of books to enjoy paranormal love

I have really enjoyed the books. I was not able to stop listening to them until I completed all 3 books. The book gave a little bit of everything a reader of paranormal love stories would like.

Good Listen

Both performers have pleasant voices and do a great job with creating different voices/cadence/accents for the various characters that are consistent across all three books.

I enjoyed all three books in the collection. Although the thirds was left opened ended so I wouldn’t be surprised if another book is in the works. Despite the opened ended conclusion there is closure of the third portion of the story arc.

All three stories have action, and romance. They are fast paced, but I would have enjoyed a bit more relationship development.

Triggers: one story includes abuse toward one of the female main characters

nailed it!

The narrators were amazing the storyline was awesome please put more from this author on Audible! A lot of these books require extensive scene setting before you get into the meat of the story but none of these books required it. it was interesting from the get go. Now I'm going to be in a "book hole" and I can only hope that the audible gods will hear my call and add more from this author soon 😆

Not what I expected!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I feel in love with each story. 🥰 I loved everything from the way each book had a way of tying the mates together like no matter how you saw it they were truly meant to be together. The comedy, romance, action, and steamy scenes were just right. 🤩Worth the credit. This is a most read series!!! ❤️

When will the rest be available on audible

Great series. Not quite done with the third story. So glad i picked this up. I usually don't care for the darker romances. I think that is because there is too much violence. These stories are well balanced and creative. Looks like she has a spin-off and some other series that also look good. I could not find any info on audio release dates. When will they be on audible? Please keep these narrators.

Love the locations

I really liked how each book featured a different location and different character backgrounds. And the passion was just right.

loved the story but

I loved this story but unfortunately the narration by Michelle Sparks didn't go with the story. The main accent used was too posh, the annunciation of some of the words distorted the real word, but her Irish accent was great.

Great story

I totally enjoyed this series, it had everything from fighting to love.
The only problem I had with it was the female narrator, she was terrible, I couldn’t understand some of the words she said and had to keep rewinding to get the meaning! I’m sorry but I don’t know where she comes from but nobody talks like that! She said palm and it sounded like pum!
Being English myself I can promise you she didn’t learn it in England, even the royal family don’t talk like she does! I’m sorry if she is offended by my word’s but she seriously need’s to get real English lessons.
The male narrator was excellent and I think I would have preferred him to be the only narrator.

Stories Get Better but Terrible Narration

The three stories, in themselves, are not too bad. They actually get better with each one.
The first story, with Kian and Elise, starts off ok, but kind of dwindles a little. There’s barely any character development and Elises personality is all over the place and not quite a whole.
The we get book 2 with Bayn and Freya. This one starts slow but gets much better. Bayn is great and Freya’s character is much more rounded.
Finally we get Killian and Bron. This story is great. Bron and Killian are both brilliant characters. It’s funny and gritty and a much better paced story as a whole.

However, the narration on these stories is some of the worst I’ve ever listened to. I struggled so much to put up with the female narrator. In the first story it is almost unbearable as she tries to do a posh English accent and instead sounds Eastern European. It’s painful to listen to. In the second book, when she’s meant to be Norwegian, she sounds German. She does a little better with Brons Irish accent but it’s still horrendous. I honestly have no idea how she got the job.
The make narrator is a little better, but it’s obvious that he hadn’t read the book before narrating. At one point he has a character speaking with an Irish accent. Then the story says the character isn’t from Ireland and has a strange accent, so he just drops the Irish and carries on in a different accent. Why wasn’t that fixed? He also has a different accent for each of the brothers. Posh English for Kian, a northern Manchester style accent from Bayn, and a southern cockney style accent for Killian, while the female narrator keeps them all with her weird posh accent. It’s just utterly confusing and ridiculous.

Honestly, I think if I’d read these books, I would have enjoyed them more, but the narration was so bad, it made them difficult to enjoy, which is a huge shame.

Interesting story but …

I actually enjoyed the storyline of these three books. It was interesting and really kept you interested in spite of a few wild character jumps. However, whilst the male narrator is perfection, the female’s narration is quiet grinding. Her vowels are just too rounded. So much so that she sounded as if English isn’t her first language. Her attempt at an Irish accent was truly atrocious. However the timbre and lilt of her voice was absolutely beautiful and I think that the faux posh narration really let her down as I can’t fault the performance in relation to delivery of emotion and pace. I would recommend downloading the sample first to see if you could listen to hours of that accent.

Complete trilogy in one collection

I always enjoy Alessa Thorns books and this audio collection is no exception. The narrator's were able to make each performance and couple distinct.

The story was engaging, the romance steamy and the world well developed.

Definitely worth perseverance

The first book was a bit one dimensional and the characters sketchy and the female narrator's terrible English accent was grating. Everytime she mispronounced Salisbury and simple words like hand it was like fingernails on a blackboard.
However the second and third books had much more depth and I thoroughly enjoyed them despite the narrator's unconvincing accent, shame as her voice tone was pleasant.

Alessa was able to mix this story with just the right amount of passion, talk, drama, action and comedy..
I fell in love with all the characters and the joined brotherly love..
Michelle Sparks is definitely one of my favourite narrators and Lucas was great aswell.
thank you
