Amazing Story and Narration

This narrative is FANTASTIC!! I love the story and Gemma’s performance is one of the best I have heard! Her talent for voices rivals Jim Dale. I am eagerly awaiting the rest of this series.

SO SO GOOD!

What a great story for people of all ages. A sequel that wasn't riding its predecessor's coat tails. A wonderful storyline with amusing characters, and an aesthetically pleasing writing style.

Book is good, can't stand the voice

I love the book, but I can't stand the person reading it. The voices are exaggerated and near painful at points.

Such an amazing series!

This is my second time through the series and I think I like it better this time! There’s tons of little details and story lines that keep you immersed in the world of Nevermoor and the Wondrous Society.
The narrator has fantastic voices for the characters and does a great job keeping you engaged in the reading.
Full disclosure:I’m an almost 40 year old who loves middle grade fiction because the stories are great and there’s no questionable content- hahaha!

Can Hardly Wait to Listen to the Next!

I really enjoyed this story - although it may be aimed at YA -- as an adult -- I can say I enjoyed it just as much as more "adult" books that rely on sex and over used cuss word (just lazy-writing). The book was a bright spot in my listening landscape.

Excellent follow up!

I'm always worried if the second book will live up to the first. This one absolutely does. If you enjoyed the first one, read this one!

Love it

I adore this series, I kind of wish I first listened to it when there were more to the series. For now, I continue to re-listen everytime I am just not feeling into anything else in my library or the store. Please Jessica, keep up the great work.
