I have a question.

not going to lie. the first cover art had me almost always mistake the MC for Jaden Smith in looks at a slight distance (until I focused and looked).

why change the art to something so generically Genie/Djinn like? not really a critique before. I honestly had forgotten about it's existence (due mainly to life being life) until it got updated and referred to me by the system recommendations.

(the star rating I gave I can't honestly say was deserved since I haven't listened to it yet, I just felt it bad etiquette to give a bad one and lower his ratings as anything less than 4 stars is considered a bad showing. I might one day give it a chance, but with one review pointing out a let peeve of mine(one voice actor voicing everyone and poorly for either the women or men). I can only stand terrible voicing for so long. like the half-ass job they did on the "Cat-girl androids" "Catgirls can do it too" (paraphrasing) series. The entire series sounds trashy, even if the idea and characters are likable. please don't let your book suffer for the same reason.

Needs a different narrator

The narrator was kind of dry reading this otherwise good story the narrator did well with the women part due to her being a woman but she made all the guys almost sound like they had a scratchy throat and sound decrepit wish she did a better job at that

Not bad.

Archer is basically the work horse of this genre and has some pretty decent books. I really enjoyed his first wish in this book.

Crap

The main character is pathetic and arrogant simultaneously made it through 7 hours and had to stop, just could not make it further.

Simple and good slice of life

A man gets two genji's and his every need fulfilled on a daily basis while understanding the impact of what his wishes could be. Rachel Leblang does well here not the best at male voices but very easy to overlook because the rest was wonderful narration wise. The story is pretty straightforward but fulfilling. I didn't think I would enjoy hearing a guy getting pampered by two genji's as much as I did while also getting into the backstories of the genji's later on in the book. It was well written and I came to enjoy learning more about the MC slowly.

His companions have some fun lighthearted banter and bickering and it tends to be a nice change of pace at times. I really enjoyed the concept of understanding that wishes had unintended consequences although the MC was able to preview these that concept was done well. I do wish that it was a little more detailed and done a bit more often. No real action to speak of, and while there was one or two sex scenes they were just kinda there. They didn't feel intruding at all but they also were definitely the weakest writing in the book which is fine not every harem needs sex scenes and I feel like they were added in to appeal to that audience.

It really is a slice of life title, minor story elements, some back story, a few supporting characters outside the MC and has two companions. If your good with that and just want a feel good humble MC who's life starts to turn around after finding two genji's then this is a good listen.

Only good thing is the voice actor

Mc is so stupid every time someone suggests something it's "I didn't think of that" or "I didn't consider that" and is a wet nudle to anything that could be considered being a conflict/confrontation/mild inconvenience for anyone else.

He's the nice guy with no bad qualities what so ever.(not a positive)

The only thing that could be considered a storyline is his coworker stealing his software. (Any other book it would be a side story with maybe 2 chapters on it.

The two female protagonists are nothing but yes women who you can't even tell the difference between other than name.(in personality)

Only good thing I can think of is the voices aren't bad
