Very insightful
Before listening to this audible book I was in a state of anxiousness. But after finishing the book I feel so much more happy. I feel an interconnectedness to everything. The explanation of birth and death makes me feel hopeful and it quiets my distress about immortality. This book is my most favorite book at this moment.
I would highly recommend this book to all people regardless of age.

A great intro into the Buddhist practices
This book was referred to me as highly recommended, as a Christian I was a little weary but everything in it helps you to improve your quality of life and the author often refers to the Christian equivalent of the Buddhist teachings.

Very soothing and reassuring
I’ve found myself repeating “you are here” often since I first listen to this book. It is a great phrase both to take me back to the present as well as to remind me of the miracle that I’m in fact, here.
Thich Nhat Hanh’s teachings are very straight forward and wise. The narrator has a soothing voice so just listening to the book makes me relax.
