Like coming out of the matrix

I went through a rough marriage and divorce. My sister bought me this book as she suspected my former spouse was manipulative if not narcissistic. Obviously I can't make a diagnosis but this book really opened my eyes to what abuse looks like from the perspective of a man. I always blamed myself for things not working out and generally always felt confused when trying to figure out where I went wrong. This book helped me see the light.

Pyschological manipulation

I am sure most people will read the Title of this gaslighting book and not really know what it is. It is something diabolical, psychiatric and planned to supress individual people and societies. The authour is a brave soul to put this out and tell the world. I applaud him and decry the fraud that is the mental health system in general.

Shut it down and Recover!

This book is an eye opening insight into the realities of gaslighting. It offers techniques that will allow you spot gaslight behavior and arm you with practical approaches to developing your self awareness, end the perils of gaslighting and reclaim your life!

I love that the author points out the importance of your peace and sanity. Sometimes we stay in relationships because its familiar and the thought of being alone or lonely is scarier than living in a chaotic abusive household.
Men always seem to be looked over emotionally and this causes self doubt and stress that is never able to be released as its looked down upon.

To say the least, Thank you for writing this book i know many men will benefit from these wise helpful, caring words!

Become a survivor instead of a victim!!

Wow what an eye opening book!
This book will teach you how to become a survivor instead of a victim.
Nobody deserves to be belittled, manipulated or disrespected. When the responsible narcissist is a female, the behavior is often discounted because of stereotypes that men should be “strong” and that is why it can be so damaging for them.
Narcissists are master manipulators, and this book helps you identify the signs that you are in a relationship with one, then gives you the tools to empower yourself to take control and learn to trust yourself again. By speaking up and setting boundaries, you learn to regain your power and take control of your life.
This book teaches strategies to learn to trust yourself again such as Self care (exercise, meditation), it outlines many ways to manage anxiety, encourages you to get the support you deserve by finding people who can validate your feelings, and gives a plethora of advice for when you are ready to escape from her abuse.
This is an excellent book. It takes a very serious subject and breaks it down to digestible parts using humour and real life examples. Nothing will change until you do. Narcissists need to be held accountable for their cruelty, this book shows you how to do that. It is time to flick her fingers away and free those glorious balls!!
Bonus: the author has a free members area with additional resources !

Addresses a Hard Topic Well

Due to society's double standards, toxic masculinity is a problem that doesn't get addressed enough. I'm glad that this book teaches men that it is ok to ask for help and to show emotion.

Insightful

I never really thought about gaslighting when it comes to men. Usually people think of women as being gaslit by men rather than the other way around. This book might be more relevant than ever. Great advice and tips on how to recover. A must-listen for men.

Emotional health support for men is what's needed

What's most helpful about this book is the examples of relationships and the gaslighting that happened in those examples. I think men should listen to this BEFORE they experience something like this. But... it could be a good book to gift someone if you're concerned about a man you care about being gas-lit in their relationship. Highly helpful resource.

Empowering

I have a dear friend who I needed to get through to because he was in a relationship with a gal that was doing to him just what this book describes. She was diminishing him and controlling him and I couldn't let that continue. He agreed to listen to this book with me. His eyes were wide open. Thankfully he realized what was happening to him. Thankfully he had the courage to end that relationship. He is now recovering from the abuse using tactics from this book. I am so grateful I found this book and my friend is now recovering. This book is very helpful. Take the time to listen and gain yourself and your life back.
