Belief Molecules

I love Candace Pert's authoritative style - a highly educated academic who informs without pedantry. Her honesty and willingness to stick her neck out regarding the ideas presented are noteworthy. Very compelling subject.

Candace Pert is a delightful genius.

What did you love best about Your Body Is Your Subconscious Mind?

I can't get enough of Dr. Candace Pert and her brilliance. This is not tip toeing through the tulips ,...this is serious, hard core science. The skeptics can't 'poo poo' this anymore. Don't sell yourself short by missing Candace Perts works...especially Molecules of Emotion.

Have you listened to any of Candace Pert’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to everything she has on audio. I love them all.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, but it makes me every happy because it gives hope.

Excellent Author!

Finally, someone with an academic background, who is capable of conducting a research and making the conclusions based on science, brought the results and translated them to the general public in a very understandable language!

One of the best

Considering the material came out many many years ago. This is one of the science meet spiritual content, even if it's a talk made into a book.

This was one of my very first purchase on audible but I just finished listening to. It's very relevant material to understand the mechanism behind your physical body and the way it operates.

Talk not a book

This was a discussion. I thought it was a book. Still very interesting. Just wished it would have been labeled as a talk

Candace Pert Marries Science and Mysticism

I recommend this audio for anyone who is fascinated by how the mind/body connection works from a scientifically mystic viewpoint. The author is highly informative and also humorous. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will listen to it again. I will be adding some of this material to my presentations about NLP.

This is awesome. Candice Pert lives on....

I read Molecules of Emotions in 2004, that's how long I have been trying to find my Brain and to understand how hate and anger distrories your health. This just enlightens the connection of positive energy heals negative energy kills your cells that are trying to heal your body. Love is the energy that helps forgiveness work. That's my take anyways. This woman made a difference with her passion!

Entertaining and informative

Where does Your Body Is Your Subconscious Mind rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'd say it's up there. There were a lot of details that could easily be known already, however, Candace helps you understand it with her descriptions. I really liked it. This book is like getting to hear the science without the "religion."

What other book might you compare Your Body Is Your Subconscious Mind to and why?

I'd say Greg Braden. Except that Candace keeps it more to the science.

What about Candace Pert’s performance did you like?

I was laughing while listening. I loved how she could tell a story and keep me interested.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely! And I did.

Any additional comments?

Great for someone who is looking for science and not religion.

Insightful & thought provoking

I love how this challenges us to take responsibility for our experiences - what can we change in our diet, the way we move & what we think to heal ourselves & live more fulfilling lives. It is so easy to give our power away...what could we achieve if we tapped into our inner strength? Excited to see the next evolution of humankind...

It sounds new age... but

I am glad that I had read Pert's previous book, Molecules of Emotion. In that book, I was given insight into her great scientific mind, the struggles with the scientific establishment, and her amazing discoveries. Without reading that, I might think this book was someone on drugs.
However, Pert's discoveries have led to some amazing conclusions. The best drugs are those in our body that carry our emotions to all parts of our body. They are shaped perfectly for what we need and we tamper with this system at our peril. Many mystic traditions have discovered the important sites in our bodies through their practices and this is now revealed with scientific techniques. These same traditions can give us ways to strength the health and resilience of our mind-body. Not two systems of mind and body, but one mind-body. It sounds new-age, but it is backed by cold, hard science. This book represents the conclusions and changes of life being made by the scientist that discovered these cold, hard facts.

Has an annoying glitch at 53.47 minutes

Interesting at times but not that much really new information I feel.
Not really a book, more of a podcast and interview
