Don't take too much Vitamin D it is dangerous! I started taking 20,000 IU a day-50X times the recommended dose of 400 IU a day. After about four months upped the dose to 50,000 IU a day or 150X the old recommended “safe” dose I then boosted it to 100,000 IU a day or 300 x times the old maximum safe dose! What happened over these last 10 months? Did I die? get sick? No! Just the opposite! High dose Vitamin D3 therapy over the last year-cured all my chronic conditions-some that i'd had for 20+ years!

i am very surprised at the negative reviews. the author clearly backed his findings with scientific explanations. i did what he preached in the book for merely 5 days now, and my blood pressure is already lowered by whopping 20 points both sys. and dia. and I achieved it by eating junk foods and following his simple advice!! I frequented McDonalds and TacoBell last few days, since I got so sick of juicing everyday for my illness and I am not supposed to feel healthier, but I do.. I am now borderline hypertensive.. much better than before. imagine if I refrained from junk foods, I would be much healthier. I am a total believer now. please, don't buy the audio book, if you think I am lying. some people are so ignorant that they can't recognize the value of sound advice even if it's shown to them right before their eyes. as for me, I am extremely happy that such easy to follow advice worked wonders for me. Thank you doctor B!(pardon my bad English, it's not my first language)

Interesting but more a brag than directional
I enjoyed this book but I felt it focused too much on success stories and feedback than informing the reader on how to adjust their life to satisfy the Bodies million cries for water

How important water is for good health.
What did you love best about Your Body's Many Cries for Water?
I found this book with compelling medical answers for many of the modern day ailments that many in our generation are facing. I found it the simplest solution to the beginning of good health, therefore I recommend this book as a starting point for those who are seeking to understand health and nutrition.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Your Body's Many Cries for Water?
When he talked about weight control issues, the confusion of thirst with hunger. Clearly this has been a lifetime issue with me.
What about Michael Page’s performance did you like?
I thought his reading was clear and easy to understand.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
If you want to recover your good health then it must start by drinking more water!
Any additional comments?
The only reason I did not give it five stars is because in some areas the technical explinations were clearly over my understanding. Which may be good for some listeners. Clearly doctors and those in the medical field may better understand all the in's and out's of how the body and water hyrdration works together. I am glad I could listen and learn even if I did not totally comprehend all the explinations. They were well done and will also appeal to those in the medical community.

Vital information for health!
as someone who has been in the health and nutrition field for several decades, I am always amazed and humbled when I come across information that totally revolutionizes Healthcare, not necessarily meaning government Healthcare but personal health care. this book should be read by everyone and if taking the heart, could prevent much suffering and disease merely by adjusting your water and salt intake. you always to yourself and your loved ones to try this non-invasive treatment first.

The medical community does NOT want you to listen!
THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY DOES NOT WANT YOU TO LISTEN TO THIS! Do you ever feel run down for know apparent reason? Do you suffer from high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes arthritis? I just finished listening to one of THE MOST informative health books I’ve ever read! “Your Body’s Many Cries for Water” by Dr. F. Batmanghelidj is a must listen for, well, pretty much everyone!
This book talks about the fact that most people are dehydrated, and have been for years or even decades! Dr. Batmanghelidj gives scientific evidence that shows most of the things that ail us are due to chronic dehydration. Which makes sense! We all know that our bodies are comprised of about 85% water. The majority of us also know we are not drinking enough. How many of us actually drink 8-10 full glasses of water a day? I know I don’t- but after listening to this book I will.
Many of the issues listed above can be alleviated or even eliminated with consistent, daily water intake! Additionally, he discusses how salt is not as evil as we think it is in our diet, and in fact most of us need to increase the amount of salt we consume! Yes increase! The catch is that you need to consume salt with proper water intake! He also discusses why aspartame is making people fat. I could go on and on about the many health revelations in this book, but you need to listen for yourself.

Narrator a shocker
The book is fabulous, very informative but the narrator is clearly board, he is in a race to get to the end of the content & reads without any expression.
I will certainly avoid books where he is the narrator in future & I hope that he wasn't paid for this abysmal effort.

A must read for a healthy body
This book was recommended to me recently by a friend so that I could get a better understanding of why exactly we should be drinking more water and the importance of it in our body for its physical and mental needs. This is one book that has literally changed my life forever, I put into practice straight away a new healthy lifestyle as it made total sense, I am truly enlightened!

A good reminder
The miracle of water... underrated and overlooked as a healthcare must. With interesting examples of medical conditions throughout, and explanations of what happens when we are dehydrated and just how hydration has helped people, it demonstrates how vital water is. We often go looking for complicated answers when this one is staring us in the face.

a bit overbearing and frankly dated
There's shed loads of scientific jargon and heavy terminology that appear to back the statements in this. it has to be said that with the best intentions in the world there's also a lot of pseudoscience in here too. it's worth a listen but some of the claims are just outlandish. nobody denies that water is good for you but... Well, judge for yourself.

Enjoyable, practical and sensible
I wish I came across this material much sooner. Water, like most natural elements and resources doesn't require to be rigorously tested under extensive clinical trials. It is so obvious when you truly listen and begin to understand the common sense and simplicity in what is being said. Listen to your body and to this book (and it's ilk). It's truly worth giving your precious time to.

Finally a bit of common sense!
We tend to discount what is under our nose and "believe"far to much in our healthcare system.Gerard Pollack mentioned Dr Batmanghelidj in a talk on water and I listened to the book,it can get a bit technical but is only 4 hours and has some health information for almost everyone you know! Narration is clear and concise. Are you ill or do you know someone who is?Then this book is a must. Illnesses are growing at an alarming rate which shows that current medical practises are not working!This book is not alternative medicine it is pure common sense backed up by detailed knowledge and research on by the author.
